I bounced around the house breathlessly, pacing from one side of the house, to the other. I went through every room on the way. When I had circled back around to the living room, I plopped onto the couch, turning on the tv to distract myself from Dorian being gone. After the coffee shop, he took me back home, only to leave to his mother's.
I wonder what they are talking about. Is it really about me? Is Dorian going to tell his mother about me? How will she take it? Will she get mad because I'm a boy? Or that I'm human? Or both? What is she like? Is she scary? She is a vampire, after all. What if she is strict?
Gosh, I need to get my head off of this. It's not going to do me any good to worry about it all. When Dorian gets home, I'll just have to ask him to explain what happened. I jumped of the couch and went to the kitchen. He had already been gone for a few hours, but for all I know, it could be hours before he even comes back. I made myself a sandwich with eggs and salami and cleaned up the kitchen as I cooked. I was a lazy person, but I knew if I didn't take care of the dishes right away, I would forget. Besides, Dorian is a bit of a neat freak. He wouldn't get mad or anything, but he had to clean it right away. And since I want to question him when he gets back, I can't give him any distractions.
I smiled as I heard the floors creak. He must be home. I rushed to the door of the kitchen, looking down the hall. No one was in sight. Questionly, I looked around the house. This house has been renovated plenty of times. Nothing creaks without a reason. I moved from room to room, but I couldn't find anything. That's weird.
Well, enough with being the typical victim of a horror movie. I'm going back to the brightly lite living room. I looked at the tv, and smiled. I had turned on Netflix before I made food, but I never choose anything. I was to distracted with my thoughts of Dorian. One of my favorite animes had popped up on my suggestion list. I plopped down on the couch, finishing the last of my sandwich before pressing play. I sung along with the opening to the anime. I had watched way too much of this anime. As the goofy looking characters of soul eater popped up, I remembered how much they have gone through. (Spoiler alert) I love the anime, but the ending was kind of stupid. I mean, seriously? Being brave was the answer? As if, I was waiting for some really cool stuff to happen, and we were left with that. Sigh.
I heard the creak again, down the hall. I turned my head to look in that direction.
"Dorian?" I called out. I'm so not leaving my spot in the nicely lite room. If it is Dorian, he would come to the living room looking for me. That's just how he works. When I didn't hear a response, I grabbed the knife from the fruit stand next to the tv, pretending to adjust the volume, before sitting in the chair that face the door but where I can still see the tv. I watched the tv, with the knife hidden from view.
Maybe I was just being paranoid, but I'm not risking it. You never know what could happen. And I don't want Dorian getting mad because something happened to me.
I sat watching Netflix for another twenty minutes with no other noises. I relaxed in my seat and focused more on the show again. Since I was just rewatching the series, I had gotten to the part were BlackStar was hit by the little witch. I don't even remember her name. Was it ersa? No... maybe... I don't even know.
The rest of the night was pretty peaceful. There wasn't any strange noises, and I just stayed in the living room eating Apple's and watching different animes. I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep until I felt myself being lifted off the couch. I was too tired to even open my eyes, so I just snuggled up into the warm chest. I sighed as I started to fall back in to the darkness of my dreams. When I was put down, I felt the blankets being lifted over me, and a kiss placed on my forehead. I snuggled into the blankets and let myself fall asleep, content that Dorian was home.

Ok, so sorry this chapter is kind of short, or at least, that's how it feels. But as some of my fans(how ever little there are that read more than just one story) might have noticed, I like to end my chapters with the character falling asleep. I'm trying to stop that, and expand my writing to a better way. I'm trying to be more descriptive, but I'm not very good at it, so that's why it's been taking so long to write. Plus, I know how I want tis story to end, but I have no clue how I want to get it there. Ugggg!! Its kind of frustrating. I'm also trying to get away from my normal situation, which is hard too. I don't know, I'm just trying to further myself as a writer. I won't ever be a professional, but I want my work to be the best it could be, for my reader.
So thank you to all those who have been patient with me. If any of you have any suggestion for this story, or my writing skills, or even and corrections I need to make(be it spelling or incorrect facts) please feel free to message me. I would actually love it.
Thanks again readers.
