I will always be there to save you

Chapter 6

Jordan's POV:
As we pull up to my apartment I quickly jump out the car to open Mal's door for her and extend my hand. She grabs my hand and gets out the car, we walk hand in hand to my apartment door.  When we get inside my apartment I feel her hands on my stomach pushing me against the door and her lips on mine.

We don't kiss for long because I carry her bag into my room. When we get in there I say to her "Put on your bikini, we are going to the beach today and I'm going to teach you how to surf" she looks up at me with them stunning brown eyes "I love going to the beach and I have always wanted to learn how to surf". "Well today I will help you"I said smiling down at her. I showed her where the bathroom was so she could get changed.

I was wearing a black bikini top and a pair of board shorts. I waited for Mal in my living room because she took ages to get ready. I heard her shout my name so I shot to my feet and was outside the door in no time.

Mal: Jordan, can you help me tie the back of my bikini please?
Jordan:Uh-yeah of course
Mal: Thank you

As she turned around for me to tie the back my fingers grazed her back which gave her goosebumps. She turned back around and she was wearing a red bikini with a pair of jean shorts on too. The only thing that pulled me back into reality was her placing her hand on my abs gently pushing me out the door. "You look stunning"I say not being able to take my eyes off her. "Shut up you moron let's go"she said laughing at me.

I open my car door for her to get in and I jog over to my side and jump in. We drive to the beach listening to the music that Mal wanted to put on. To be fair she doesn't have a bad taste in music, our types of music aren't the same but hers aren't that bad. When we get to the beach I hop out the car and run round the car to Mal's side to get the door for her. As we walk down to the beach I know the owner of the surf shop so I give him a call to ask if we can borrow 2 boards. We get both boards and some wax so I can show Mal how to do it properly.

We get to the surf shop and I see Scott is waiting for me outside with 2 boards and some wax. When we get to him he hugs me tightly because it's been a long time since I have seen him. Scott is just like me, born in Hawaii parents move to the mainland for work. He lost his dad because of cancer and his mom is in a care home.

"Hey Jord, I haven't seen you in ages how are you?"he said squeezing me even tighter. "Scottie I missed you, how's your mom?" I pulled away and asked. "She's doing alright thanks, she loved seeing you on the news a few days ago, she called me straight away"he said smiling. What. When was I on the news. "What do you mean Scott, when was I on the news?" I asked. "There was a picture of you carrying a uswnt player out of the burning hotel. It was all over the news" Ohhh that makes more sense now. "Oh ok thanks Scottie. How much is it for the boards?"I asked getting my wallet out. "Nothing for you, just make sure you are safe out there" he said.

I smiled at him and carried the boards back to Mal who was sat in the sun putting some sun cream on. "Who was that?"she asked "that's Scott he's an old friend of mine from Hawaii"I said and she just nodded. "Please can you put some on my back?"she asked handing me the bottle of sun cream. "Yeah of course"I took the bottle off her and gently rubbed the sun cream into her back lightly massaging her shoulders. "Thank you. Your go now, turn around"I sat in between her legs as she applied the sun cream to my back. "Thank you".

We were laughing with each other while I taught her how to wax the board. She picked it up quite quickly. We moved on to having the board on the sand and seeing how quickly she could jump up off her stomach. This made me laugh because she lost her footing a couple of times and fell over. We moved into the water sharing a board so she could get used to paddling and the movement. "We are having this wave ok, when I say go I want you to jump up and I will be there to help you balance"I said to her. "Yep, we've got this one" she said which made me smile. I watch the wave until it's time "go!" I shouted. I was up fast and she was up soon after me she began to wobble so I grabbed her waist to steady her and it worked. We surfed back to shore and I jumped off first which made the board rock a bit which caused her to fall off and land on me causing us both to fall in the water. She smiled down at me and said "hey" this girl does things to me that I can't even explain so I'm gonna take her out to dinner tonight and ask her to be my girlfriend.

Mal's POV:
We were so good surfing together on the waves. On the last one she jumped off and I fell if after her and we both landed in the water with me on top of her. I smiled at her shyly "hey" was all I could get out. I looked into her deep green eyes and she connected our lips. I think I'm falling for this girl hard. She makes me feel safe and I forget about the rest of the world because it's just me and her.

I'm happy that I get to spend the rest of today with her and tomorrow too. After my game against Canada I only have 2 more games before the NWSL season finishes so I can spend time with her. She could come to Washington to see me if she can get time off work.

When we finish up at the beach I go with her to return the boards to her friend Scott who seemed really nice and it like they get on really well. We get back into the car and I grab her phone to play music as we get back to her apartment. I'm so tired from surfing this morning all I want to do is get comfortable and watch Netflix.

"Hey Mal, what do you want to do for the rest of the afternoon?"she says like she read my mind. "I'm so tired from surfing today can we watch Netflix?" I ask "of course we can, also would you like to come out to have dinner with me tonight?" She asks me. "Yeah that would be amazing thank you" I can't wait to go out and have dinner again tonight. Thankfully I packed a tight fitting black dress with me so I can look good.

I walk into the living room and she's sat there with her glasses on trying to find something for us to watch. I can't help but notice how sexy she looks with glasses on. She sees me walk in and opens her arms. She's lying on her back across the sofa and I climb on top of her and put my head on her chest. She wraps her arms around my waist and my hands go onto her neck.

Jordan's POV:
Mal is watching the movie that I put on for us both but I can't concentrate on it. The only thing I want to look at is her. I really am falling for her. She has such an amazing personality that doesn't change for anyone. She has the best sense of humor and the sweetest laugh. She has the deepest brown eyes that I get lost in every time I look at her. I can't wait for this evening when I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend.

I feel Mal's breaths go heavy and I know she's asleep now. I make a reservation for a restaurant that I know does great food because I have been there before with the boys and Scottie. I book it for this evening at 6:30pm. I go on my phone for a bit and see the news story of the fire. The photo at the front is a picture of me carrying Mal out the burning hotel. I screenshot the photo and send it to Mal. Her phone buzzes a few seconds later which makes her stir and wake up. She looks at me with them beautiful brown eyes. "How long have I slept for?"she asks me sleepily. "About an hour. Are you still tired?" I ask her "no not anymore. What time are we going out tonight?" She says as she crawls off me. " I have booked for 6:30 so we are going to have to leave at 6:00 if that's ok?" I tell her.  " Of course that's ok. We have an hour and a half until then. I'm gonna need an hour to get ready. So... what do you want to do for 30 minutes"she asks grabbing the hem of my shirt and pulling me towards her.  She laces her fingers in the back of my hair as she connects our lips.

Mal's POV:
I woke up from my sleep and Jordan told me that we have 1hour and 30 minutes until we needed to leave for the dinner reservation. It takes me about an hour to get ready so I decide to pass the other half hour by giving Jordan a lap dance. While I kiss her I slip her phone out of her back pocket and put some music on. I push her back into the sofa and grind on her. I feel her hands slipping up the bottom of my top and she caresses my stomach. I turn around now so I'm straddling her and grind on her again, her hands find their way to my ass as she squeezes it lightly.

I continue to give her a lap dance and kiss her for another 10 minutes. I slowly climb off her give her one last kiss and say "I'm going to shower so you get dressed now because you showered before. When you are changed wait for me ok?" She quickly nods her head and I disappear into the bathroom.

When I'm getting myself ready I can't help but think about here and what could happen tonight after dinner if we both let it. I then think of the future we could have. We could get married with kids and we could live by the beach with a dog when we are old. I snap myself out of it because she's not even my girlfriend yet. I'm getting too ahead of myself.
