Chapter 22

Mal's POV:
I watched as Christen walked out of the hospital room to go and find Tobin. I couldn't help but feel bad about when I snapped at her.

"Are you ok babygirl?" Jordan asked me moving over in the bed so I could get in next to her

"Yeah I'm really sorry I snapped at you before" I say not looking at her

"Babe trust me it's ok. I just want to spend time with you before I go into surgery" she says pulling me closer

I look up and connect our lips together and it's everything and more than the last time. I missed her so much and I wish I could be with her all day everyday.

"I missed this" she said as we pulled away before it got heated

"I missed everything" I say snuggling into her

"I missed you and how upset you get over burnt toast" she said laughing

"That's not funny Jordie. I was on my period and everything went wrong"

"I know but it was a bit funny though, right?" She said nudging me

"Maybe it was a bit funny then" I say rolling my eyes

" I love you" she says trying to wrap both of her arms around me

"I love you too you cripple"I said kissing her cheek

"Come on babe I'm not crippled. I bet I can still tickle you" she said trying to get up only for me to push her back down

"Babe I'm not letting you get up" I said half lying on top of her

"Baby my arm is stuck" she says making me roll of her quickly

"I'm so sorry did I hurt you?" I ask her

"No babe you didn't don't worry" she said as the door flew open and Tobin ran in with a couple of sharpies and some chocolate. Christen followed her carrying us some pasta each.

"Jordan I fucking love you for letting me do this" Tobin said pulling the chair up next to Jordan's arm

"Before you start don't write anything inappropriate and don't take up the whole cast" Jordan says staring Tobin in the eyes

"Yes ma'am I won't. Can I draw now please?" Tobin said excitedly

"Go on Tobin" Jordan says giving tobs her arm

"Babe please can you pass me my phone and my jacket please?"Jordan asks me

"Yeah babe. How come?"I ask getting up

"You know the girl Sophia I met on the plane? Her brother helped me into the ambulance and asked me to call him when I'm in hospital. I'm gonna call him I will be quick" she said as I pass her then both

"Oh ok" I was say sitting back down with Chris

"Thank you princess" she says smiling at me

Jordan's POV:
I pull the piece of paper out my pocket and dial the number written on it.

"Hey Jason it's Jordan, we met after our flight got fucked?" I said laughing

"Oh Jordan are you ok? What's going on?" He says

"I got a few x rays and I shattered my knee cap and broke my arm. It's not that bad"I say

"Jordan that's not good though, we can come and visit you sometime if you would like?"

"Yeah that would be great thank you Jason. How's Sophia?"

"She's a bit shaken up but she doesn't stop talking about you and how she colored in your tattoos" he said laughing

"Yeah she spent the whole flight doing that. Tell her that she can colour in my cast when I see her" I tell him

"She's going to be over the moon Jordan"

"I'm just happy she's ok"

"Thank you for everything. I will let you go just make sure you text me the details and we will come and see you" he said

"Yeah no worries. See you later Jason" I said hanging up.

"What was he saying?" Mal said curiously

"He was just asking me how I feel and he offered to visit me with his family after my surgery"

"Aww that's cute" she said

"You will get to meet Sophia as well. She's so cute and we talked through the whole flight" I say remembering her

"She sounds really cute babe"

"Tobs you are going to have to save space for Sophia" I say laughing at her

"What nooooo I want it all" she said frowning

"You can draw more on my leg cast when it's on chill out" I say laughing even more

"Ok fineee" she says going over to Christen and pouting

"Don't pout babe" Chris says kissing her

"Jordan Johnson?"the surgeon says walking into the room

"Yeah" I say

"Are you ready for surgery?"she asks me

"Yeah I guess" I say

"I will be back in 5 minutes to take you to the operating theater" she says as she walks out

"Good luck Jordan" Tobin says walking over to my bed and hugging me tightly

"Thanks tobs look after the girls for me and make sure they eat" I say to her

"Of course I will" she says moving to the side

"Baby" Mal says crying again and climbing onto me

"Don't be upset babe it's going to be alright. The surgeon is just making my leg less painful" I say stroking her hair

"I know. Please don't let anything happen when your knocked out"

"I will try my best" I say laughing

"Babe will you take my chain off and look after it please" I ask her

"Yeah I will keep it safe" she says holding it in her hand

"Put it on baby" I say as she clips it on

" I won't let anything happen to it I promise" she says kissing me

"I love you" she says climbing off me

"I love you more" I say as she walks next to Tobin

Christen walks over to me with teary eyes and she just stands there frozen

"Come here Chris" I say opening my arms

"Don't go" she says crying into my shirt

"What do you mean?" I ask her

"Last time j was in hospital my mom went in for surgery and didn't make it through. Please don't die" she whispered in my ear

"Chris I'm not going anywhere I promise you. Be strong for Mal because she's struggling ok?" I say to her as the doctor walked back in

"I will" she said wiping her tears and kissing my forehead.

"Be safe Jordan" she said as I was getting wheeled out

Before I left the room I felt lips on mine and I looked up to see Mal pecking my lips before I left.

The next thing I know is I'm lying on the operating table almost knocked out because of the anaesthetic. My last thought was my beautiful girlfriend sat with me on the beech.
