Chapter 19

Tobin's POV:
When Jordan left my cried into her shirt and rested her head on my shoulder. I know how she feels. This is how I felt when I had to say goodbye to Chris for the first time. But at least we knew when we would see each other. Mal and Jordan don't. When I had to leave her I wanted to cry but I had to stay strong for Chris because she was just like Mal.

I felt Mal get heavy on my shoulder so when we were getting off the bus I woke her up and gave her my sunglasses so nobody knew she was crying.

"Thank you tobs" she said as we walked into the airport.

"Don't thank me I know how you feel and I'm trying to be there for you because you will need it" I said wrapping my arm around her shoulders.

We boarded the plane and Mal was sat next to the window, I was next to her and Chris on the other side of me. Mal has her head on my shoulder still gripping onto Jordan's shirt as she slept. I turned to look at Chris because she has been quiet since Jordan left too.

"Are you ok babe?" I ask her

"I don't know. I miss Jordan. I don't know how to explain it but we have a really good friendship and we just understand each other and I miss it" she says putting her head on my shoulder and holding onto me arm tightly.

"Yeah I know. We didn't know her for that long but we all love her now. But we will see her soon. Don't worry babe. We can go and visit her too when we have time" I say kissing the top of her head.

Jordan's POV:
I left Chris and walked to my car numb to everything. That team are like my new family, I'm going to miss them so much. Now I need to sort my life out and stop doing ridiculous shifts because I'm scared to be alone. I'm going to sort out time that I can use to go and see Mal and try to see Tobin and Christen too.

When I get into my apartment I call my boss and we arrange my shifts and when I get breaks. I am on nights for the next week then I have a 2 day break to sort my body clock out. Then I have 2 weeks on days and then 10 days off. This works perfectly because I can go to Washington so see my baby and watch her games. I go to text Mal to tell her about when I can see her.

Jordan:
Hey babe, how was your day?xx

Mal:
It was good thank you, I'm really tired because we had to do lots of running in training. How was yours?xx

Jordan:
Did you ice bath after? Mine was good thank you. I have sorted my shifts out with my boss xx

Mal:
Yeah I did but I hated it. That's good, now you have some time to relax xx

Jordan:
I know you hate them but they do you good xx

Mal:
I know. What are your shifts like?xx

Jordan:
I'm working nights for the next week, then I have 2 days off to sort my sleep out. I'm on days the week after then I have 10 days off. I was wondering if it's ok with you if I come and see you for them days?xx

Mal:
Of course you can baby. I can't wait to see you. I miss you so much xxx

Jordan:
Thanks babe. I miss you too. It's not long now and I haven't missed any of your games. You are playing amazing xx

Mal:
We aren't doing too badly this season. But when you come we are playing Tobin and Chris in that 10 days so it will be difficult xx

Jordan:
I know but you are an amazing player and you can achieve anything you want xx

Mal:
Thank you Jordie. I'm going to bed because we have an early gym session tomorrow. Good night Jord I love you xxx

Jordan:
Good night princess I love you, sleep well xx

Mal's POV:
I can't wait to see Jordan even though I have to wait 2 weeks. It won't take that long though. The time will go fast. I need to focus on these next 2 games because they could help us get higher in the table. I decided to call Chris to talk to her because I miss her.

"Hey Mal what's up?" She asks me down the phone

"Hey momma Chris, I miss you" I say back to her

"Aww baby I miss you too. I play you soon and so does tobs. We are both going to fly to you a day early to spend sometime together. Is that ok with you?" She asks me

"Yes of course that's fine with me. I can't wait to see you Chrissy" I said happily

"I can't wait too baby"

"Also Jordan has sorted it out and she will be over to see me for 10 days and she gets here the day after you" I say smiling even more

"Wait really?!" She says excitedly

"Yeah momma Chris"

"I can't wait even more now"

"You really like her don't you?"

"Yeah Mal I don't know what it is but I love her and I can't wait to see her again"

"Woahhh Chris don't get attached to my girlfriend please" I say jokingly

"Hahaha very funny Mal. So you really have fallen in love with her haven't you?"

"Yeah I love her so much. When I'm with her everything feels natural, she always makes me happy and smile. Once I was cooking in her kitchen and I fucked up breakfast and I started crying because I was on my period. But Jordie just walked in and calmed me down, then she put me on her back and cooked breakfast like that" I said smiling at the memory

"Aww that's so fucking cute Mal. I'm so happy you met her, she's the best boyfriend or girlfriend you have ever had" Chris said

" thanks Chrissy "

"No worries baby. I love you and I will talk to you soon"

"Ok I love you too momma byeee"

"Bye Mal" she said and hung up the phone.
