Kaminari huffed in annoyance, rushing over to the wall and grabbing his gold rammed cutlass. He looked to Mina, his eyes flicking with energy. "Ready the canons, try not to sail faster then 15 knots" Mina nodded, quickly running from the small room. Bakugo looked between the two with a slightly confused expression. Kaminari looked to him with a serious expression.
"I'll be back. Don't move" He turned with that last mutter, running out of the captains quarters, his black boots clicking against the floor. Bakugo growled in annoyance, grabbing at the ropes and trying to untie himself. 'There's no fucking way I'm staying in here while all the actions out there..' he thought while angrily darting his eyes around. He smirked as he saw a sharp piece of the beam that had broken off. He rubbed the ropes against it, cussing under his breath until the snapped.
He did the same with his wrists and just untied his legs himself. He turned to stomp out, but a violent shudder of the boat caused him to tumble a little, face planting back into the beam with a groan. Lightning roared above, the seas rough and choppy. Several members of Kaminari's crew had tied themselves down, holding onto the boat for dear life as the seas rocked their boat in every direction possible. Dragons soared above, circle in the ship eagerly picking up a crew member every once in a while and tossing them into the rage filled sea.
A military brigade sailed across from them, canon's being fired around every 10 minutes. Kaminari decided he would do the same, lining up ten canons on the right side of the boat facing the ship. He rose his sword, narrowing his eyes at the captain of their ship, a woman that looked so incredibly similar to bakugo that it kind of scared him to fire. She stood on the boat with a long maroon dress, yelling inaudible orders to her crew. Kaminari lifted his sword, and Ten crew members lit the fuse, bending down and covering their ears as kaminari yelled fire. The boat rocked as their first assault landed into the battle boats hull.
Bakugo hissed as he stumbled out of the captains quarters, grabbing onto a wooden pole that supported the small staircase up to the wheel. He looked frantically around, his eyes moving between kaminari and his mom. He walked carefully out to kaminari, grabbing onto the mast right next to him. He poked his head out to look at kaminari, scowling. "What the hell do you think you're doing!? That's my fucking old hag damn it!" Kaminari pokes his head out from his said. Making a face that said. 'Oh really? Oh i don't know..I don't really see a resemblance' bakugo rolled his eyes, looking to the other ship.
Mitsuki saw her son holding onto the tall mast of the boat, her eyes widening as she launched herself at the already lit canons. Although she tried to stop them, the canons went off, making a huge hole in the others hull, causing water to rush inside the boat. Kaminari cussed, yelling one last order to his crew. "Abandoned ship!" He grabbed bakugo's hand, pulling him off the boat and sending them both tumbling into the freezing cold water. Both of their muscles tensed, but kaminari was a fairly good swimmer. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for bakugo, who struggled to keep his head out from under the waves.
Kaminari grabbed a piece of wood from his broken and sinking boat, pulling bakugo onto it as he kicked frantically in the water. He pointed to the shape of a kingdom in the distance. "There it is!" He yelled over the waves, causing bakugo to look where his finger led. He smirked excitedly, but frowned when he was brought back to the moment, looking down and his soaked clothes. He looked down to kaminari, who violently kicked his legs towards the island, pushing bakugo on the piece of rotted wood.
Bakugo sat, speechless and uncertain of how to help. He looked back to Kaminari's destroyed boat, the mast sticking up out of the sea. Prices of wood and members of his crew floated in the water, scattered in all different directions. Kaminari's eyes stayed lifeless as he kicked them away from his boat..his pride..his home. He winced, hearing the mast break in half and fall into the sea, sending a huge wave that sent them moving quickly towards the kingdom that lay not that long away.
Bakugo squinted, seeing a small tavern on the shore. Named 'the clingy cock-shell' he pointed to it, looking back and down to kaminari. "Right over there!" Kaminari nodded, kicking twice as hard as they left the wreckage of his once beautiful ship.
A tall boy stood behind the counter in a tavern, rubbing a cloth in a glass. He smiled a wide smile, the thunder still booming outside, which he hoped would bring in customers trying to escape from the cold. Little did he know, the next customers were quite unusual.

I'm aware this chapter was short compared to my usually chapters, but the story still continues! And guys- wow 57 reads! Holy shit! Thank you so much! I'm not sure if I should do something special for the 100 reads mark, but I'm confident we'll get there eventually! I hope y'all are enjoying the story so far! 💛
