"your entire kingdom, including you- burned to the ground over fourteen years ago! Your entire family...was nothing more than a pile of ashes!"

The tense air if the ballroom seemed to crush everyone underneath it, awkward glances being thrown between kaminari and the king. Kaminari walked forward, walking right past Bakugo. The prince reached a handout, gently placing it on Kaminari's shoulder, the white fabric creasing underneath his touch.
"Denki...I-.." his hand slid down his back and he looked away as the blonde peered back at him. "why didn't you tell us? Asshole..."
Kaminari's face lit up in a guilty grin that soon melted into a sad one. "I'm not sure... I meant to, I just never had the time.."
Bakugo nodded a little, even if he didn't lie that answer. Did he not trust him?
Denki gave him a soft smile, shaking his head before grabbing the hilt of one of his flintlocks, pulling it out and handing it to bakugo, who reluctantly shoved it into between his belt and his dress pants. Denki tore his eyes from bakugo's blistering red ones, turning back to endeavor, who stood in front of his throne merely a few feet away.
"it's his.." endeavor looked suddenly nervous, but he put back on a convincing poker face.
"well, If you are who you claim..." he smirked a little. "all members of the Kaminari family have the ability to manipulate lightning. If you're one of them, then prove it."
Kirishima growled, balling his fists and spreading their wings to their full extent, freaking most of the nobles out, leaving them in an empty clearing in the middle of the marble floor.
"he doesn't have to prove shit to you- you-" Kaminari shot him a sad glance, and with that Kirishima's wings fell, his tail drooping.
"fine...I'll prove it to you." Kaminari simply stated, his face a blank slate as he walked out of the ballroom and into the large field of grass on the right is the castle from a side door.
The side door was the one sero came in with, so he leaned in the pillar right next to it. He gave Kaminari a sad look, putting a hand on his shoulder and offering him a canteen. He took it, tilting his head back and taking a hearty swig in an effort to dull his senses. He gave him a small smile, trying to cheer himself up as much as he was trying to cheer them up. He stepped out into the emerald green grass, the various plants in the field before the cliffs end swaying in the soft wind.
Everyone gathered near the number of windows that lined the wall towards the field, watching kaminari and wondering what he was doing. Soft mutters and whispers swirled around as thunder started to shake the sky, the small blonde lifting a finger up to the dark black night. A single bolt of lightning flew down at him, the tip pricking his finger. He sighed, moving his hand around as lighting gushed from his pointer finger. Soft yellow lines trailed from his hand as he dragged his hand around, stepping in small circles to complete a small boy made completely of lighting, a small tux snuggly drawn on his figure. He drew figures in the air, 3D people made of thunder. Some had regal ball gowns, some had suits, and others had outfits too extravagant to explain. Kaminari seemed to draw the smallest details onto the people, from tiny buttons to hair clips. He dropped his hand as he finished the last figure, a lightning endeavor, though, this one seemed twenty years younger.
Figures danced around, almost as if they were having a ball of their own. Kaminari walked through the crowds, lighting bouncing off his soft tan skin as his suit tail fluttered behind him, his head whipping around to take everything in. He smiled as a mini lightning Kaminari ran right past him, and into his parent's arms. Hot tears rolled down his cheeks as he watches his mother and father, sobbing quietly as endeavor stormed into the room. The crowd scrambled and dispersed into the air as they ran away from the mini Denki and his parents, leaving them alone with Denki standing only inches away. Many of the endeavor's guards surrounded them, lighting swords and spears in their hands. The endeavors mouth moved, hand moving to a lightning spear that hung from his back. Denki turned around, clenching his eyes shut and grinding his teeth, knowing what was soon to happen. The crowd gasped as the endeavor loomed above the lighting figures of the king and queen, his atm swinging down the spear. The crowd yelled, Some sobbing at this point, others left speechless, their hands over their mouths in shock as the king and queen were brutally slaughtered by the man they called king. The lighting Denki opened his mouth and let out an inaudible cry, scrambling back as the endeavor took a menacing step towards him. the endeavor snapped his head back as something unseen by the crowd distracted him, he rolled his lighting his eyes, handing a guard with a pirate hat the spear, pointing to a sobbing, eight-year-old Kaminari, who hugged his parents that lay limp on the grass. The guard nodded and endeavor walked away, melting into the air as he got farther from the rest of the figures. The guard dropped the spear, taking off his hat and placing it on the small Kaminari's head, looking away and to the ground as Kaminari stood, back to back with the real Kaminari. They both looked to the sky, the same furious expression on their faces. The small lighting boy turned and ran. away from his parents, away from his kingdom, away from who he was. He ran right through the real one, disappearing into the air as he ran farther and farther. Denki now stood in the field alone, staring up at the sky, his blonde locks ruffling in the wind.
Kaminari wavered in the wind, his scrawny figure looking so weak and lifeless compared to that of his usual self. He fell to his knees, his forearms on the grass as he pulled at his hair, his whole body shaking with violent sobs, his heart feeling empty and alone once more. He couldn't hide it with smiles and laughs anymore,
Or try to push the pain away. Tears dropped from his cheeks to the dirt, his bangs hitting the ground as he screamed bloody murder into the thick air, his voice lined with utter agony. His cried were soon mixed with the billowing sound of a gunshot. Kaminari snapped his head up, yellow eyes widening as he watched bakugo's figure in the window, gun in hand, pointing it straight at the king, who stumbled back onto his throne, holding his his now bleeding chest. He growled, screaming. "thats it...i declare war against the bakugo kingdom...fuck the paper work.." he huffed as he tried to sit up, ordering his guards to capture Bakugo and his acquaintances. Bakugo dropped the flintlock, the crowd scattering in a panic. Bakugo sero and Kirishima ran out the side door, bakugo beckoning for Kaminari to follow him. Kaminari stood up as bakugo ran past him, drawing a lighting figure that ran up to bakugo and grabbed his hand. Kirishima looked back to him, nodding. Kaminari gave him a small smile, turning on his heel and sprinting into the chaos in the castle. He dashed past the crowds of screaming maids and butlers, storming up the stairs. Little did he know, the kings son watched him with an expressionless gaze, knowing exactly were he was going and running after him.the crown room.
