No Way Out

Ellie was walking up to the Carpenters Shop because Lewis had told her that she should think about upgrading her house.  When she asked him why he just winked.

As Ellie walked in the door of the Carpenters Shop he saw a nice looking ginger hair woman who greeted her with a big smile.

"Hello!" the woman said cheerily "You must be Ellie, I'm Robin, the local carpenter."

"Yep!  That's me!" she responded merrily "I was here to ask about a house upgrade."

"Oh, of course!"  Robin said "I just need to tell Sebby something, but if you don't mind telling him I could get you the plans faster."

"I'll tell him.  What is it that I need to say?" Ellie asked.

"Just tell him that I ran into Abby at Pierre's and she said that she was going to stop by later."

"Okay!"  Will do!" she responded.

As Ellie walked down the steps to Sebastians room she started to get nervous.  He didn't seem to like me at he Saloon, what if he hates me after this?  

As Ellie stepped into his room he didn't look up.

"Hi." she said timidly.

"One sec, I just gotta finish this."  

"Okay.  Done.  What do you need."  he said.

"Your Mom just sent me in to tell you that she saw Abby earlier and she is going to come by in a bit."

He groaned.

"Is it okay for me to ask, why you don't want to see your friends?"  she asked.

"It's fine."  he said dismissively  "It's just that no one here takes me seriously.  This is an actual job."

"What do you do?" she asked.

"Freelance programming."

"That's so cool!"  she exclaimed  "I always wanted to be a programmer but I got roped into marketing."

"Really?" he said, brightening up, "I've never met someone else who actually wants to be a programmer."  he started looking somber again "I'm mostly doing programming so I can get out of this dump."

"To go where?" she asked.

"ZuZu City."
