As Lewis showed Ellie her new home she looked around.
"Well, it isn't exactly as I expected but I it is really nice for being abandoned for so long. I just need to clean up the yard a little bit." Ellie said.
"Well I'm glad you like it!" said Lewis, maybe a bit too cheerfully. "You should stop by the Stardrop Saloon later and meet some of the townsfolk."
"Okay! I'll see you then!"
--------------
It was around 10 o'clock when she realized that she had forgotten to ask Lewis where and when to go to the Saloon. Oh well. Ellie thought to herself, shrugging, I might as well just go now.
Ellie walked to the Bus Stop where she had arrived earlier that day. She saw the town up ahead an sighed in relief. Well at least I didn't get lost on my first day. Now the hard part is making a good first impression.
As she walked into town she didn't see many people. Ellie saw the Saloon at the center of town and sighed in relief. As she walked up and pulled on the door she realized it was locked. Oh great she though to herself.
"Hey." said a mans voice behind her "It doesn't open for another hour."
As Ellie turned around to look at who had just spoke she sharply inhaled. He was beautiful with light brown hair, dazzling green eyes and an amazing smile she just couldn't help it.
"What?" he asked her, smiling widely.
"Oh. Nothing." she said, fooling no one, "I was just wondering why you helped me since you'd never seen me before. Not many people in the city would do something like that."
"You looked like you were completely lost and I felt bad." he said
"Oh." Ellie responded, surprised, "Thank you, um, what's your name?"
"Alex." he said, "And you are?"
"Oh. Sorry." she said sheepishly, "I'm Ellie. Thanks for helping me out!"
"No problem." he responded, flashing her a smile, "I was happy to."
Ellie was about to head off when she heard Alex call her.
"Hey! Ellie! Come over here tomorrow, I'd like to talk to you again."
"Okay!" she said, smiling at him.
He smiled back.
------------------------
When the Saloon finally opened Ellie went in. She immediately saw Lewis.
"Look who it his!" he exclaimed. "Everyone, this is Ellie. She just moved into the old farm."
As Ellie looked around she saw a few people smile at her, some others hadn't even noticed Lewis's announcement.
She went around talking to people for a while. As she went into the back room she saw a group of three people, around her age. She went up to the one with spiky, blonde hair and introduced herself.
"Hi! I'm Ellie!" she said cheerily.
"I'm Sam!" he said.
He seemed just as exited to meet her as she was to meet him. She decided right away that she liked him.
"Do you mind if I join?" she asked.
"No, not at all!" Sam respond.
"Ugh" muttered the one in all black.
"I can go." she said quickly.
"No! Stay!" said Sam, "Sebastian is just being fussy."
"Are you sure?" she asked timidly,
"Of course!" he said.
"Thanks." she said, smiling at him.
