Sebastian's POV
From the first moment I set eyes on her I knew I would fall for her. I tried to stop myself. I really did. I tried to pretend that she didn't exist, but the Flower Dance.
As I stood there, looking at her, I saw Alex come up to her, he asked to dance and she said yes. I knew it was my own fault for being so antisocial, but when he asked her out after the dance, it was just one more nail in the coffin. I knew I would never get her back from that. If she is into guys like Alex, she could never love me.

The next day Ellie went over to Sam's house.
As she knocked on the door to his room she heard music, loud, rock music. She knocked again and finally someone opened the door. It wasn't Sam though, it was Sebastian.
"Hello!" she said cheerfully.
Ellie thought she saw his face flush, just a bit, when he saw her.
"Hi." he said.
"Can I come in?" she asked.
"Sure. We were just practicing for our band."
"Really?" she asked, "I know I already said I wanted to be a programmer, but my real dream job is to be a musician!"
"For real?" Sam exclaimed.
"Yeah!"

Sebastian's POV
Of course she wants to be in a band. She's the most perfect person in the world and yet I am still too much of a coward to talk to her like she is a normal person. '
What's wrong with me?
---------------
After band practice ended Ellie walked home with Sebastian because she needed to see Robin about building a chicken coop.
When they got to his house Sebastian stopped outside.
"Bye." he said.
"Why aren't you coming inside?" she asked.
"I'm just going to work on my motorcycle for a while. Maybe once I fix it up, I could take you for a ride?" he asked timidly.
"That sounds fun!" she answered, ecstatically.
