No Way Out

The Captive

When Ellie woke up the next morning she was groggy.

Where am I?  she thought but then remembered the events of last night.  She looked over to see Sebastian sleeping beside her.  He's so peaceful and so amazing.  

Last night Ellie couldn't fall asleep.  She tried for hours and finally gave up.  Sebastian had been with her all night, comforting her.  When he fell asleep she put a blanket on him and laid down next to him.  She fell asleep holding his hand.

Ellie kiss the top of his head and got up.  She sat in his room for a while wait for him to get up.  While she was waiting she read one of the books on his floor.  It was called Cave Saga X.

Sebastian's POV

As I woke up I saw Ellie sitting on the couch in the corner of my room, reading Cave Saga X.  Dang, I really have the best girlfriend in the world.  I thought.  I slowly got out of bed and walked up to her.

"Did you sleep alright?"  I asked her.

"Well, as good as I could've." she replied with a smile.

I love her so much.  I thought.

"Come on."  I said, kissing the top of her head.  "Let's go see if they found him yet."

Ellie's POV

When they got to town they saw Alex locked in a makeshift jail cell.  He was saying something.

"I can't seem to face up to the facts.  I'm tense and nervous and I, can't relax.  Psycho Killer, Qu'est-ce que c'est?" he said as if trying to get out of the inevitable. 

Alex's grandma, Evelyn was in tears.  She walked up to them.

"Ellie," she said, hiccuping, "I'm so sorry about what Alex did to you."

"It's okay Evelyn.  It's not your fault, really.  You couldn't of stopped what happened."  she replied to the dejected looking woman.

Suddenly, Lewis started talking.

"In light of recent events, Alex is sentenced to six months in the ZuZu City Jail.  He will have a trial soon to see if he requires a harsher punishment."
