Chapter-19

"Hope is the only thing that keeps us going when we forget the reason to live"

Kira's POV-:

The pain was immense as my body has been drained of all the energy from the hours of crying. I just simply sat there without trying to break through the constraints or any kind of resistance. I have no tears left to cry. I feel so tired, even breathing seems difficult. I just sat there idly ......... lonely............ scared.......... helpless.

But even in all these the only thing that clouded my mind  was the person who is the sole reason I was here, the person whom I have ever loved so dearly, but never received the love back. The kidnappers wants to threaten him by torturing me, but they never knew that it's all in vain 'cause my husband doesn't give a shit about me. He doesn't care. I am the only one suffering and i will be the only one suffering until the end. This realisation sent a shiver down my spine. I hugged my knees and broke into tears one more time. Then for whom  should I bear this? For whom? And why do I have to go through these? Why?

There was a sudden flash of light inside the otherwise dark room, and I could hear some voices talking among themselves. Soon their boss arrived as I guess because of them wishing that person. I could recognize this person even from a far with my closed eyes because of one peculiar habit of his, his scent. "Give her some food to eat. I can't let her die so easily. Moreover I have to fulfil my promise to her husband too." With that said he simply left the room without paying a single glance.

Soon after a girl of around my age entered the room. She had a petite figure, her blond locks suiting her looks making her look much more ethereal. She had a tray in her hand swiftly placed it in front of me, "Have some. You have been drained of all the energy". There was a smile on her face but I can say she is actually faking. She looked too conscious of her surrounding. She too looked ................scared? "Who are you?"
"I am So Ah, Joo Dong's girlfriend" not to mention how sadly she said that. I just kept staring, not sure to trust her or not. "I should have said sex slave [sighed]. Here have something." I kept staring the food not sure if  I should actually eat it. "Don't worry it's not poisoned" she said as if reading out my mind. I am suffering enough. It's better if it poisoned anyway, I could just die at once. Moreover I was hungry. I don't remember when I ate last .

As soon as I finished eating she checked behind for anyone and then handed me a phone, "Here, call your husband and ask him to come and save you before he goes insane and try to kill you." I snatched it as an instinct. It was what I wanted for so long. But then I stopped before typing the numbers.

Is this a trap?

I can't trust anyone. Maybe this is to get Yoongi off-guard. I can't let this happen to him. "Why? You said you are his girlfriend then why would you help me?" "Because he isn't the same one, whom I fell for. Trust me I am not helping you, I want to help him. Just call your husband then they will be able to track you down maybe" she said with pleading eyes.

"I don't know I can trust anyone after all these things" but something about her tells me that I should trust her, but after all these things I'm not sure whom to trust anymore.

She sighed "I was in love with him since 8th grade. But he just saw me as a friend. He was nice and sweet, he always used to care about everyone around him, but then one day he changed, everything about him changed. Since that day he made me his slave, he even killed my parents and my younger brother to make sure I would never leave his side. And guess what, I stayed, even after all these things I stayed because I loved him. I hate him now but the selfish love isn't fading. I want to change again to be the person he was before. That will be my revenge. But now he literally has lost his mind. I don't want him to go more insane. I am not helping you for nothing, I know Min Yoongi is a well armed man, and I believe he won't leave the man who dared touch his wife and hurt her.  So just stop wasting your time and call him."

I looked at her and it felt like I could see her past, how deep in love she was and how much she has suffered and is still suffering. I don't know if she really wanted to help but the look in her eyes clearly showed her emotions. Without any more thinking I took the phone and dialed Yoongi's number. I don't know why I dialed his number but it was my hands were having their own brain. After just few seconds he picked up. "Hello" there where no words to express how glad I was upon hearing his voice.

"Yoongi......" I couldn't control my sobs anymore.

"Kira.. Babe, you okay? " His reaction took me off guard. I never expected this excitation from his side. I tried to answer him only to end up whimpering and crying.

"Babe, calm down. Hold on love. Don't worry I will get to you . Just hold on a bit more, I will reach to you." He sounded so restless and his words doesn't seems like empty promises, cause his voice was full of determination.

"Yoongi, his name is Joo Dong. He wants to harm you, Yoongi. He is........." before I could say another word the door slammed open and Joo Dong entered with a fierce stance. So Ah jumped in horror.

"You bitch! How dare you betray me!"

Joo Dong snatched the cell and threw it to the other side of the room. He turned all deaf  ears to her pleading. He pulled out his gun and shot her right through her skull. I screamed as her lifeless body laid just beside me. He didn't even spared a glance at her.

He then kneeled down and grabbed me by my hair, I flinched "Because of you I even had to kill her, the only one I had in this entire world. You both are going to pay for this ", he went out and ordered his men to move to another location. Before anyone could enter I dragged my trembling body to the other side of the room and hid the cell. I returned to So Ah "You are helping me even after your death. Thank you. I won't let your death go in vain." I glanced at So Ah's lifeless body for the last time before getting dragged by Joo Dong's men.
