Chapter-26

"It's amazing how one day someone walks into your life, and you cannot remember how you ever lived without them."

One, two, three and now its been 2 weeks since Yoongi brought Kira home. The once long boring days, where each minute was like a century when Kira was not by his side, have now got the jet speed. Having your love by your side is so overwhelming.

The tsumani was over now. The distractions all now halted. Losses are done. But now they all were recovering. And all that the recovery costs is time.
And Yoongi was ready to give all of his time to her. He was ready to spend each second of his life with her. He was ready to mend the broken and also correct his wrongs.

But it was not just Kira who was recovering. It was also Yoongi renewing his soul, his mind, his love. Rather than repenting on the things that had been done to her and the suffering she has gone through, she was getting ready to flip the page of her life to a new chapter, and while doing so she is also bringing yoongi away from the black hole of guilt.

And all this just needs time.

"C'mon babe just a bit more. You can do it, come here." Yoongi encouraged Kira as she took baby steps towards Yoongi as she was trying to walk on her own.

Kira had her lips pressed into a thin line as she focused on her walking. It was painful but she was determined.

Just as she was about to reach him, the freezing sensation in her knees and feet returned and she stumbled upon her own legs. Eyes shut tight as she was ready for the imapact of hitting the floor she let out a yelp when she felt tight hold on her waist. She opened her eyes to get flustered the next second as she was snuggled in Yoongi's arm while he looked down at her with a gummy smile.

"You did well babe" he said as he pressed his forehead against her's. Kira too melted in the contact and smiled. The two just sat there on the floor in comfortable silence. They were too engrossed in their sweet moment to the clicking of the locks of the door and the people entering the house.

Kira flinched when suddenly someone cleared his throat.

Yoongi and Kira then noticed their parents by the door while a bunny giving them a teasing look while wiggling his brows.

Yoongi's POV.

After snapping out of my embarrassment I quickly picked Kira up and settled her down the couch.

Our moms came forward and hugged Kira, as appa and dad hugged me before going to their precious daughter. But eomma came to me and reached for my ear as she twisted it every way possible

"Eommaaaaaaaa" I cried out in pain but she continued twisting it without even letting me know the reasons for it. I saw kookie laughing his ass off while looking at my pained condition, but he never stepped forward to help me.

'That traitor'.

"You idiot, you know she hasn't recovered yet, and here you are romancing with her. You little...."

"Eomma" I heard Kira's voice. " Actually he was helping me to walk but then I stumbled, but he caught me."

I could then feel my mother's grip on my ear losing and I took the chance to escape and run towards Kira but not before stomping on Kookie's foot as he groaned in pain.

" But what's with this family reunion all of a sudden?" I asked taking a seat beside Kira.

"You should have informed earlier. We could have prepared for it." Kira said.

"We wanted to see how you are doing dear" Kira's mother said as she sat beside Kira.
" And to check how this fool of my son is treating you" my mother added as she pushed me aside making me fall down and she herself sat beside Kira.
