Eva spent most of her shift wondering what the Irishman had planned for her after work.

She wiped the countertop daydreaming about the moments they'd shared the night before and she smiled at the thought of sleeping on Niall's chest.

Niall was already on his way to her work. He was walking with a tune in mind and a book bag on his back.

He smiled at his plan to woo Eva, even though he didn't need to at this point in their relationship.

He entered the small shop as she was putting up her apron. She turned to look at the door smiling as it chimed.

The co-workers knew it was Niall so they instantly huddled in a group to talk.

"Hey," He said and kissed her forehead as she reached him.

"Hi," She replied and giggled.

"Ready?" He asked handing her the bouquet of flowers.

She nodded, "It's honestly the only thing that got me through this shift so it better live up to the hype."

They swung their hands together as they walked down the streets of LA.

"So where are we going, Nialler?" She inquired.

"Mm, the beach." He responded.

"Good start, good start. So are you doing like a total surprise or can I ask questions?"

"I'm not gonna tell you, Eva. I'm proud of this and I want you to be shocked. Like, 'Woah, Niall you're the best in the world! You're so perfect!' You know something along those lines," He said nonchalantly. And she nodded sarcastically.

"Oh, yeah yeah. Totally," She said.

He laughed and she hit his chest, "You're an idiot."

"I brought this," He said and pulled out a navy blue Yankees cap, "So I'm not the only one wearing shades and a hat." He said.

"Here I was thinking you were doing it out of caring for me," She said putting it on while adjusting her sunglasses.

"Well yea, but still," He said and tightened his grip on her hand.

"How was your day?" She asked.

"Pretty eventful, actually. I was shopping for this surprise. I was mostly scrolling through date ideas but then I came up with a good one on my own, thank you very much." He joked. "I missed you." He said sheepishly.

She smiled, "Awe,"

"Yea being in the grocery store isn't the same when you don't have something constantly reminding you about the different health benefits of each item you pass," He said and she gasped.

"Now when you're asking for home remedies I wanna see who you go to," She scoffed.

"Easy. The answer is Vicks." He replied and she nodded.

"How about you, how was your day?" He asked.

She titled her head, "It was pretty constant. Not too busy. Again, no racists. But I had a handsome fella to see at the end so I couldn't have been more eager for it to end." Niall smiled down at her.

"Speaking of which, I should probably text him and tell him I'm going to be late..." She added pretending to look for her phone.

"You better tell that man to back off if he wants to keep living," Niall said and Eva just laughed.

"The only handsome fella you're allowed to see is me," He said and kissed the back of her hand.

"What if I see John Stamos?" She asked.
