Chapter 10

"Um we'll thanks again for today" I said opening the front door feeling my cheeks heat up.
"Bye Brooke" he said smiling turning around walking to his car
Once I went in my room I sat in my room thinking about what just happen. He kissed me and I kissed him back! What was I thinking. I just kissed HARRY STYLES! I wasn't happy about it, I barely even know him. I mean I know him but I don't know enough. I decided to take a shower to let some steam off.
After my shower I looked at the clock it was 4:30. I put a pair of high wasted shorts and a gray crop top because it was hot out. I blow dried my hair and put it in loose curls. Niall and I were going out to dinner at a really fancy restaurant around 6. It was a little early to start getting ready. I wasn't going to wear shorts and shirt to a fancy restaurant. I looked in my closet and found a dress my mom got me for Christmas. It was white on the top and had flowers on the bottom with matching heels. I laid it on my bed and walked down stairs.
"Brooke!" I heard a familiar voice say
"Ariana!" I screamed
"I missed you so much!" She said
"I missed you too!" I said
"I'll be right back I have to run to the store is that okay" Simon asked while we were hugging
"Ya that's fine" I said
"Okay see you in a little" he said
"Wait Ariana why are you here?" I said
"I wanted to surprise you" she said smiling
"Did you come by yourself?" I asked
"Ya I was so scared the plane was gonna crash" she said laughing
"Your an idiot" I said laughing
"Rude" she said
"So how long are you staying?" I asked "3 days I talked to Simon about it" she said
"Oh my god we have so much to do!" I said laughing
"I know" she said
"Are you hungry or anything" I said walking to the fridge.
"No I'm good thanks" she said
"okay Niall and I are going to dinner you can come " I said
"Wait I'm going to meet Niall" she said
oh ya I forgot there famous wow.
"Oh ya were like best friends". I said
"Oh my god that's so cool, when you told me Simon worked for them I didn't actually think you were friends with them". she said
"Do you remember when we used to cry over them" I said laughing
"Yes! Oh my god that was awful". She said laughing back
"Oh ya I have to tell you something but you can't tell anyone". I said
"Okay I wont". she said
"Harry kissed me and I kissed back" I said scrunching my face
"Holy crap! Are you serous" she said
"Yes! I don't know what was happening I just went with it." I said
"Are you to like a thing now" she said giving me a cheeky smile
"No and I don't want it to be" I said
"What! Why it's Harry styles!" She said
"Because I barely even know him and I already get enough paparazzi imagine dating him that would be a million times more." I said
"So if there wasn't any paparazzi you would date him." she asked
"No that's not the point- you know whatever it was one kiss it's not like anythings going to happen again". I said
"Okayyyyy" she said taking a seat.
"So are you gonna come with me and Niall?" I asked
"Sure" she said
"It's a really fancy place did you pack a dress?" I asked
"No can I borrow one" she question.
"Ya let's go pick one out" I said walking up the stairs
"I love your room!" She said
"Thanks and guess what's the best part" I said
"What" she said
"Follow me" I said walking to my bookshelf
"Why we in front of your bookshelf?" she asked
I turned the shelf and showed her my closet.
"This is your closet!?" She asked
"Ya do you like it" I asked
"I love it, I wish I had this" she said as I laughed
An hour later it was 5:45 and Niall would be here soon.
"We look hot" Ariana said
She was wearing a strapless dress with white on the top and gold on the bottom.
"I know" I said laughing
"I might steel this dress" she said showing off the dress I gave her
"You can keep it, it looks way better on you" I said
"Are you sure". she said
"Yes" I answered
"Brooke! Niall and Harry are here!" Simon yelled
"What Harry's here?" Ariana whispered
"Okay we'll be down in a minute!" I said
"I guess so, damn it" I said
"What's wrong" she asked
"It's going to be awkward" I said
"I'm sure it won't be that bad" she said
"I hope" I huffed
"Are you excited to meet them" I asked
"Yes! Let's go!" She said as I laughed
Once we walked down stairs Niall, Harry, and Simon were standing in front of the door.
"Hey guys" I said as all eyes went on Ariana
"Hey" Niall said still looking at Ariana
"Hi" Ariana said walking towards Niall
"Am I missing something here" I said walking towards Harry
"Apparently" Harry said laughing
"So when you too are done staring at each other we should start going I'm starving". I said
"Ya lets go" Niall said
Ariana and Niall were walking to the car together as Harry and I were behind them.
"I think they like each other" I said to Harry
"No shit" Harry said laughing
"We'll than" I said smiling
Brooke you don't like him keep that in your head.
"Where is this place were going to?" I asked as we all went in the black range over
"It's called Denver's" Harry said.
Ariana and Niall sat in the back with me and Harry in the front.
"woah woah oooooooo" Harry said singing to the awful music he listens to.
"Oh my god please stop" I said as he sang louder
"My ears are bleeding" I said complaining
"I'm a great singer"he said smiling
"Ya when your on stage, but sorry to brake it to you but not in the car". I said smiling
"Wow Brooke I see how it is" he said pretending to cry
"I'm sorryyyyyy" I said looking a him
"I guess it's okay" he said trying not to smile.
Once we got there we all sat at a table. Harry and I sitting next to each other and Niall and Ariana sitting next to each other. This is like a double date It was just suppose to be me and Niall.
"So what are you guys getting" I said trying to start a conversation.
"Steak" Niall and Harry said
"I have no clue" Ariana said laughing slightly.
"Same here" I said smiling
"Hi my name is Rodger and I will be your waiter, can I start with you off with drinks" Rodger the waiter said.
"I'll just stick with water" I said as everyone else agreed.
"Okay I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order" Rodge said giving me wink while he walked away as I smiled.
"Brooke what are you getting" Ariana said looking at the menu.
"I'm just going to get chicken". I said
"Ooo I should get that" Ariana said
"Brookeeeee" Harry complained
"What" I said
"Can you order for me" Harry said
"Me too" Niall said
"Me three" Ariana said
"What do I look like" I said
"The best person ever" Niall said
"Why do I have to order for you guys? I asked
"Because I always mess up and get the wrong thing" Harry said as Niall and Ariana agreed.
"Ugh you guys are ridiculous" I complained
A few minutes later Rodger came back.
"Hey are guys ready to take your order?" Rodger asked
"Ya can we get two plates of steak and two plates of chicken" I said as he wrote it on his paper.
"Okay anything else" he asked
"No that should be good" I said smiling
"Okay it will be ready soon" he said walking away.
"I don't trust him" Harry said
"Why" I questioned
"Did you see the way he was looking at you he isn't trust worthy" Harry said
"Oooo is someone jealous" Niall said laughing
"Jealous about what" Harry said
"Okay soooo Ariana what do you want to do these next 3 days" I said starting a new conversation.
"I don't know, what is something fun we could do?" She asked
"Um, we can go to the mall, bowling, movies anything that you could really do in America." I said
"Okay cool" she said
"I'm so good at bowling no one could beat me" Niall said
"Oh really" Ariana said
"Yup" Niall said feeling proud
"We'll were just gonna have to see about that" Ariana said smiling
"Is that competition" Niall said
"I guess it is" Ariana said
"Okay Harry and I will be right back" I said pulling him by the arm.
"Where are we going" Harry said as we walked out the door.
Once we got outside I looked right at him.
"They can not begin to like each other". I said
"Why not?" he asked
"Because Niall is my best friend and so is Ariana and I can't see them be heart broken when Ariana has to leave" I said
"True, but I think we should let them hang out for at least tonight" he said
"Okay" I said as we both walked into the restaurant as we bumped into Roger.
"Hey" Roger said smiling
"Hi" I said returning his smile
"Your dinner will be out soon" he said
"Okay great" I said as I was about to turn around to go to our table until Roger touched my shoulder.
"Can I talk to you" Roger asked
"I don't think that's a good idea" Harry interrupted
"It's okay I'll be right back" I said
"Bu-"
"Harry it's okay I'll be right back" I said
"Okay call me if you need me babe" he said kissing me on the cheek as my eyes widen.
"So are you to dating" Roger asked
"Um ya" I said going along with Harry's plan that I knew he did it to protect me.
"Oh okay cool" he said awkwardly
"So what's up" I said
"We'll I wanted to know if tomorrow around 12 if you um wanted to go out for coffee or something?" he asked.
"Um-"
"Not as a date or anything obviously" he said
"Okay ya sure" I said smiling
"Okay can I have your number?" he asked pulling out his phone setting it to contacts
"Sure" I said while putting my number in.
"My names Brooke" I said
"Okay I'll go see if your dinners ready" he said
"Okay thanks" I said turning around.
Once I walked to the table all eyes were on me.

Note: I just realized I haven't made notes lol. I hope you guys like the book so far! I know nothing interesting is really happening but just keep reading it will get better! :)
