Chapter 38

*Izuku's P.O.V*

Everything changed when Wendy's 'family' came. She has been less attentive to us, and she seems to always be hanging out with Conbolt-san. She seems to have a strong relationship with him and they are inseparable. Mina had once asked if Wendy wanted to hang out with them, and she declined saying she was hanging with Sheila.

It seemed like her family was everything to Wendy. She seemed happier when a pink-haired boy, a blue cat, and a blonde girl would come to pick her and Romeo up. Or when a back haired guy and a blue-haired girl would pick them again. It seemed to be different people and she seemed to be happy no matter what. I also noticed how they all had the same sign tattoo.

It seemed very strange to me but Wendy would wave it off saying that it was just a symbol of their friendship. I sighed still deep in thought, "Izuku are you okay?" I jumped and turned around, "W-wen-wendy!" I stuttered and blushed. "Ah sorry, did I scare you? I just noticed you were deep in thought and you looked really sad, so I just wanted to know if you were okay?"

I blushed, she still cares for me, "Ye-Yeah, it's just..." "Hey Wendy!" she turned around and smiled, "Mina! I'm free today if you want to hang out" she said happily. "Yes!" Mina pumped her fist to the sky. "I'll get the girls! Why don't you invite your friend Wendy?"

Her smile turned into a small worried face, "Yeah, I would love to ask but she has some training to catch up too. She um..." she paused for a second. "She's a special case, and since Erza is training her, well she is going to get some rough training"

She had sweatdropped and seemed a bit worried, "Since Erza is training her Romeo-kun wants to train with them too." She sighed and added, "And since Erza is training them, Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Juvia want to join"

I sweatdropped at how if one person wants to do it all the others want to do. "The only ones left would Mira Lucy, Carla, and Happy. They all are going to work on some hero stuff they won't tell me but they are busy, and anyways I feel like I'm always Fairy Tail so I want to hang out with you guys for a change." She said smiling.

I smiled, her smiles were so contagious and I couldn't help but feel her sincerity in her words. "They all are gonna be busy for around a week so let's plan this all out!" she said punching her fist in the air. Mina smiled, "Yeah!" yelled also punching her fist in the air. We all walked to class and Mina dragged her over to the girls where she talked to them and seemed to be enjoying her time with her.

*Wendy's P.O.V*

We got into class and Mina dragged me away talking about the plans we had to do. She said that we had to go shopping, a sleepover, we had to go to an amusement park. At the mention of one, I paled, "Why don't we not go to an amusement park" I asked, thinking of what would happen if I did go. She smiled evilly, "We have to go to one for sure!" I sighed no escaping.

"Why don't we go with the whole class?" Ochaco asked I nodded, "The more the merrier," I said smiling. They nodded and proceeded to keep planning. The door opened and I looked up. I regretted that decision so much, I could hear Kaminari, and Ejirio laughing already. I tried to stifle my laughter but couldn't. "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT SHITTY HAIR, DUNCE FACE, AND WINDY!" His hair was so funny.

"I love" I laughed a bit more, "your new hairstyle" the two males laugh harder which made Bakugo angrier. "Wow Wendy, I didn't know you could tease Bakugo like that" I stopped smiling, yeah I used to have a really shy personality when I was younger, I used to think I was very weak, I mean who would want someone who can control a small breeze."

I smiled remembering the hard times, "But with Fairy Tail, I felt like I could do anything if it was to protect my friends. I made a promise to myself, that I wouldn't be a weakling and that as long as my friends were fighting, I would keep fighting no matter what." I smiled "After that we just had more adventures making me happy and they helped me a lot and I'm very thankful for that." I looked up and saw Ejirio have a small tear in his eye.

"Oh my god did I make you sad, I'm sorry if I said anything wrong." I panicked and became a bit flustered. "No, your reason is just so manly!" he shouted and I just sweatdropped, "Is that so?" I was still a bit confused. "Of course! You fight for your friends! You even said so yourself that they have helped you and have always been there for you" he grabbed my hands and clasped them with his.

I blushed a bit, "You're so manly Wendy!" He had admiration in his eyes. I got a bit dizzy. "Yeah..." He noticed it and let go of my hands, I haven't been ever been that close to boys my age, only Romeo and I was pretty used to it.

"Sorry Wendy I got carried away" he rubbed the back of his head. " No its fine, It's just in Fairy Tail there aren't kids my age, they are always older, Romeo was the only boy my age so yeah," I said still a bit flustered.

He nodded, "Actually the girls are planning to go to the amusement park you wanna come too?" He smiled showing his shark-like teeth. "Yeah!"

"Am I invited?" Kaminari joined our conversation, I smiled, "The whole class is invited." they nodded and I went back to my seat, class was starting. I was dazed off, I had accidentally overheard Mira and Erza talking.  I frowned remembering what they had said

*FLASHBACK*

I was walking to get a cup of water, it was the middle of the night so no one was awake. I had made it to the kitchen and was walking back when I heard some voices. I heard them coming from Mira's office, the door was open a crack and I peaked in. I felt bad, but I just heard something like what was happening back at Fairy Tail. I decided to just to go since there was nothing really important. As I was leaving I heard my name.

"What about Wendy?" I heard Erza say, "Won't she miss her friends that she made, she seems close to them. If anything we have to give them our thanks for taking care of Wendy" I heard Mira sigh, "Wendy deserves to be back home, she was taking her first job right. She needs to go back to Fairy Tail to get more experience. You guys need to go back up."

Erza made a small annoyed grunt, "We can't just leave you here Mira, you're part of Fairy Tail. The fact that you still have your Fairy Tail mark is proof." I heard some mumbles. "I'm pulling Wendy out of U.A and that's final" I had a small gasp.

What were they talking about? "You should tell Wendy before you do anything, Mira. We're here now so you just need to work on getting us...." I couldn't do that part because of someone's snoring. I groaned, timing ever Natsu.

"Let Wendy get her License and get her as your sidekick. Then she is out of U.A and has her license." I heard Mira sigh annoyed, "If there is one more villain attack I'm pulling her out fast you got it Erza." I could feel Erza smirking as she won.

"Yeah don't worry if anything's there so don't be such a worrywart. Also if we become heroes we'll need to move up the ranks fast Mira so get our costumes ready you got it." My eyes widened they were going to become heroes.

"Also might as well call our agency Fairy Tail right?" Mira laughed "Yeah, yeah I'll change it." There was a silence but I heard something rustle, "We're taking you home to Fairy Tail, no matter what Mira. Even if you already made your life, everyone misses you." I heard a sniffle. She must be crying. I peaked a bit again and saw her wipe her tears.

"I know some people who will be very annoyed if you guys all rise the ranks fast, especially that winged hero." I heard her laugh again, I wonder who she was talking about, the winged hero?

*FLASHBACK OVER*

I sighed, my time here at U.A was running out. I feel bad just leaving, I had a small frown. An idea struck me, my face lit up. They said if a villain attacked and if I can just convince them to let me stay here a bit longer I would be a bit satisfied. I know there is something I'm meant to do, I just don't know what. I need to figure this out before I go back to Fairy Tail.

I need to figure out my purpose here and fast.
