Chapter 34

*Wendy's P.O.V*

It was Monday already and I was getting ready to leave when Romeo stopped me at the door. "Hey Wendy, I know, we'll be apart for a week, so please don't do anything reckless," he pleaded. 

I giggled "I'm not like Natsu, Romeo," I said, he sighed and finally looked at me, " Wendy, promise me you won't replace us" he sounded worried, and had a bit of a scared tone.

I looked at him trying to find any hints of doubt, but couldn't find any. He was scared, I softened my gaze and hugged him. "You guys will always be my family. 

You guys will always be my priority no matter what!" I answered. "I'll make sure to call you, every day." I looked at him once more and smiled. "Catch up in your work so we can be in the same class, okay" I added, making sure he would work hard.

He smiled, "Of course, I'll make sure to learn everything and more!" He beamed, "I have to go before I miss my train, I'll call you later" He nodded and I ran to the train stop. I wanted to be there a few minutes early just to make sure I wasn't late. I thought about what Mira had said.

*FLASHBACK*

"Okay Wendy, I'll be going a few days before you to prepare everything and make sure I have all the training equipment." she had said, I nodded. "What are we going to be doing?" I asked, curious. I wanted to know if this was going to be easier or harder, than the training with Natsu. 

I looked at Mira who had a smile on her face, "You'll see when you get there" she said, her smile replaced with a grin.

I had some chills, and was already packing, "Also Wendy," I stopped and looked at her, "If your late, even by a minute, your training will be tripled and you won't be able to have free time at all, okay" she remarked grinning evilly and I had gotten scared. 

"Ri-righ-right Mi-mira-sensei" I stuttered. Her smile returned, "Well I have to get going, Wendy. Please make sure that your motion sickness caused no trouble at all" She waved as she walked out and into a car.

Romeo had come out of his room and leaned on the counter, "Better make sure you're not late, Wendy" he said teasingly, I gave him a small glare, "Better not oversleep either Romeo." I said mockingly. He had a tick mark, "It was only once and I was still a child " he said shyly but annoyed that I was bringing that up again. I giggled at his face.

*FLASHBACK END*

I was at the station and was preparing to go on that deathtrap. Even thinking about it made me want to puke, I was walking back and forth till I saw someone I knew. I ran up to Iida. "Hey, Iida. I didn't know you were going to Hosu city too" I said happily.

 He turned to me surprised. "You're going to Hosu city too?" he had a dubious look on his face and I just nodded. "May I ask what agency you're interning for?" I nodded and told him, "Yeah, I'm interning for Mira's agency," I remarked.

"Mira-sensei huh, she didn't send out any offers to our classmates" he stated quite harshly. "Oh please don't think bad about Mira, she is overprotective of her family, so I guess she wants to talk with me to see how I'm doing in school" and quietly added, "Since I'm really bad at math and the other school things."

"Ah I guess that makes sense, I hope we are able to meet up during our patrol." he stiffly said, I nodded. "Um, Iida. Can I ask you a question?" He nodded and I held my head down, "Ca-can you wake me up when we get to Hosu?" I paused and added, "My motion sickness will probably make me miss the stop, and if I'm late Mira is going to triple my training," I said with a small shiver.

"Of course Wendy, I will make sure that we get off Hosu." he nodded and that's when the train came and I was very hesitant to get on. I took a deep breath, what's the worst that can happen.

*Romeo's P.O.V*(^^up above cause he's so cute <3)

When I made sure that Wendy was gone, I went up to my room and pulled out the small bracelet that Levy gave me before I left. "Levy, come over" there was a bit of static, but eventually I got a reply. "Here Romeo, can you hear me?" 

I heard static again, "Yes, Levy. I hear you clearly" I paused, "Did you figure it out?" I asked, quite curious if she figures it out. When 1st Master told us I was a bit skeptical but now this has to work!

There was a silent pause and she finally responded, "Yes, but, Romeo are you sure that 1st Master wants to do this?" she asked, a bit doubtful. I sighed, also quite doubtful, "I think it's better than it being us 3 if the others knew they would want everyone to go" I mumbled loud enough for her to hear. "1st Master told us herself, Levy. That this would work, this class and Wendy will need our help '', she sighed and agreed.

The reason why the 1st Master made such a big deal about me being the only one to go to where Wendy was, was for this. If we don't do this 1st Master and Master Makarov's work will all be for nothing, they had to work hard to keep this a secret. 

If we had informed everyone, dark guilds would want this information, to make more trouble and use it to possibly destroy us. NO! I can't let that happen no matter what, I said thinking determined to avoid that.

"Your right Romeo. Also 1st Master wants to keep this top secret. I will call them all in and we will brief them. While Master Makarov will tell the other members that they will be going on a mission to find more information on Wendy. Hopefully, this diversion works and we will make it in time. If what the 1st Master said was true, then Wendy along with that class is doomed " Levy said worriedly.

I nodded though she couldn't see, "Levy, 1st Master has already told you who will be on this mission right?" I heard static, "Yes, there will be one from the other guild and the rest are from our guild, I need to get them. I'll tell Master Makarov to start the plan." I nodded and waited, "This has to work, no matter what," I said clenching my fist, after all, if we failed Wendy would have to stay here.

"I heard the door opening, I guess Levy left the lacrima on. There were tons of voices, but I recognized them all. It was...

So sorry I haven't posted, I was pretty busy again and was rethinking some of the plot a bit. I had gotten some suggestions and wanted to add them in.
