Marauders in the Future

Chapter One

Seventy-five percent of the Marauders were standing in the library, helping their unclaimed leader, stalk a one red haired green-eyed beauty, "come on Prongs lets just go, all shes doing is studying," moaned a boy with black curly hair and gray eyes, Prongs never even took his eyes off the object of his desire, "yes, but shes studying with that slimy git, Padfoot, I can't just leave now can I what does she see in him anyways" there was a soft sigh from behind him, "maybe its that they can have a stimulateing conversation about more important things than playing pranks on each other" Padfoot gasped dramaticly, "Moony I resent that, not only did you just imply that I wasn't smart but you also basicly said that pranks weren't important" Moony simple sighed again and ran a hand across his tired face, the full moon was comeing soon, and it was starting to show in his posture, health, "would you both shut-up" Prongs hissed to his closest two friends. Finally turning his back on the beauty that had sparkling emeralds for eyes, "Potter, what do you think you are doing" all three boys turned to look at the red haired tempermental girl in front of them, James Potter, or better known by his friends as Prongs, nervously ran his hand through his already mused dark chocolate almost black hair, makeing it even messier, his hazel eyes darting around trying to fish for an excuse as to why him and his friends were behind the book case she just so happened to be studying at, "well you see, um we...were...uh" Moony steped up, "teriably sorry Lily, but I had a question for you about a certian spell" Lily blinked "oh Remus, hello, what was your question?" after racking his brain quickly he came up with one that sounded likely to go with the truth, Remus Lupin known as Moony by his friends, started a long complicated question about some form of time travel and if Lily had read anything on it, bored out of his mind Padfoot found some strange and huge hour glass sitting on a shelf and began to play with it watching the sand run around, swirling lightly at the bottom, as being moved by an invisible wind before settling on the bottom, "Black! what is it you think you are doing?" Lily screeched, Sirius Black known as Padfoot by his friends, startled let out a yelp which led him to drop the hour glass. it broke almost as if in slow motion and began to swirl around their ankles working its way up their bodies, it soon became like they were lost in a sand storm, except the sand didn't sting it felt like silk caressing their skin, when it stop, it was like the hour glass had never even existed not one speck of sand or shard of glass was anywhere, "What the bloody hell was that?!?" Sirius exclaimed, everybody just shrugged while Severus Snape Lily's best friend stood behind her looking at the ground, "I think we should ne worrying about why and how, the object you were carelessly playing with has sudenly disapeared" he sneered at him. "Sev's right we need to go to Dumbledore immediately" Lily chimmed in before a fight could start, so they all made their way to Dumbledore's office and stood there guessing sweets until at Remus' chocolate frogs it opened the gargoyle, spinning round to reveal the stairs they climbed on up to the top, where they all just stoped as if waiting for each other to make the first move,"oh for Merlin's sake" Lily said exaspertedly, and pushed past the Marauders and knocked solidly on the wooden door, "come in" was answered in the voice of who they belived their only hope, the door swung open to reveal an old man with white hair and beard, and half moon glasses covering twinkleing blue eyes, if he was surprised by the apperance of these five he did not show it instead he simply ushered them in and sat back waiting for them to begin
