"Don't get in trouble!" I teased Dixie as she walked towards the doors of her school. She turns around and glared at me with her wolf eyes making me shake my head. I wait until she was inside before I walked off towards the heavily guarded castle. Thankfully, the walk didn't kill my legs.

"Good morning, Stan," I greeted the front guard. He sent a nod in my way before allowing me to enter. "Good morning," I plastered a smile on my face as I walked through the kitchen. All the chefs mumbled a reply, nobody happy about waking up this early to cook for the royal family. The castle is where the Alpha, Luna, Beta, Beta female, Gamma, and Gamma female all live with their children. There are probably ten maids daily in the house and I just happened to be the head maid of them all.

It's crazy how I used to live here.

I knock on the door and stepped back waiting for the prince to open the doors of his office. It was the last thing I had to do for the day and I was already running late to make dinner. But knowing the great person Dixie is, she probably already got started. Hopefully, she is in a good mood today.

"Your highness," I bowed my head in front of him out of respect. "I came to collect the empty platters," I stated. Prince Grayson stepped aside," don't let me stop you," he says as he shut the door behind us. I walk to the table where both covered plates were and held him in my hands.

"Elaria." My head snapped to the right where surprisingly, Westlee stood. The guy from the airplane. The universe cursed me and I just had to see the annoying guy again. "Westlee," I mimicked his shocked tone. The corners of his lips tugged up as he smiled. His brown eyes chocolate brown eyes drifted down my body as he noticed my uniform. "You forget to mention that you work for the royal family," he spoke, and then I realized that we were standing in the middle of the prince's personal office that not many ordinary wolves ever stepped through.

"I didn't know we were on that base," I replied, holding up my act. Westlee was about to say something when the person behind us spoke. "You know the rules, Elaria," Prince Grayson cautioned making my eyes shut tight before I turned around and left the room just like I was supposed to without another word. It was a basic rule. Unnecessary speaking or loitering was considered not doing your job. It is work first and personal things after or during breaks.

"You're an ass," I hear Westlee faintly stated to the prince making me smile but then I wondered how close they were. He basically insulted the future king and he isn't dead as yet. They must be close but how? I've never seen him at the castle before. Shaking my head, that isn't your business Elaria. I held my head high and walked off in the direction of the kitchen. I dropped off the plates and signed off before leaving the castle.

The walk to our apartment was probably ten minutes but fifteen minutes on a lazy day. I still had unpacking to do and grocery shopping was supposed to be done this evening.

"Evening, how was school?" I asked with a smile on my face as I finally slipped off those shoes. They were very comfortable shoes but when they were off after a long day, it was heaven. "Actually good," she smiled and focused back on her cooking. "What are you making?" I changed the subject as I slipped out of my coat and walked further into the small apartment.

"Chinese noodles and vegetables, is that okay?" She quickly responded. I could tell she was scared I wouldn't like it so I quickly dismissed her," of course."
