During The Night (ON HOLD)

Chapter 4: June

While Annie was flirting with Mark, I was in the middle of a dance battle with some idiot.

George Alders, the kid that had been going to high school for 6 years, announced the winner, "The winner is....." Everyone stopped what they were doing to bang their hands on something to make the drum roll sound, "The new dude Matthew Leengar!" Some people clapped while others just rolled their eyes.

The Matthew dude turned to me, "Now I get to chose your punishment for losing," He smiled evilly.

I rolled my eyes at him, "Yeah, yeah let's get this humiliation on. What do you want me to do? Run naked around the neighborhood, have to kiss you, drink five beers?"

"No, I won't be that mean." A few people frowned, they all came to watch the loser of the dance challenge get humiliated. "Jump into the pool, and stay under for a minute." He commanded.

I went outside to large pool. People gathered around the pool ready to watch me get embarrassed.

I took off my leather jacket and shoes before jumping into the freezing cold water. I didn't bother coming up for a breath before I sunk to the bottom of the pool and mentally counted down.

At zero I came up, and swore loudly. Everyone had ran inside and locked the doors.

What idiots. Do they really think that's going to embarrass me?

I'm an immortal vampire, it'll take a lot more to bring me down.

Everyone inside was pointing and laughing at me as I stood dripping wet outside. Ooh.... Matthew Leengar you just declared war.

When nobody was looking I speed around to the front of the house with cans of paint. Thankfully nobody that was sober enough to understand what was going on was outside with me.

I got started setting up an elaborate plan to humiliate everyone of those stupid teens.

Waiting was the hard part. Especially since I knew the sun would come up in a few hours. But it all paid off as Matthew and a few other teens walked out the door. I let go of the rope I was holding which sent the paint cans flying and falling on top off Matthew. Covering him in neon pink paint.

He and his friends looked in my direction and glared at me. But instead of starting a fight like I assumed they would they turned away.

They chatted for a few seconds like they were deciding if they should attack me or leave humiliated.

I'm guessing they chose option 2 because Matthew took off his shirt, along with his other two

Please don't kill me, I know it's a short chapter and it's late, but I've been super busy.

I had lots of family over and I thought it would be rude if I wrote instead of spending time with them. I made a schedule for when I will update. I will be updating this book on Mondays and my other book DNA on Tuesdays.

Again I'm sorry for a super short chapter I swear they will be much longer in the future.
