Only Maya could sprint into a coffee shop after doing one of the most complicated spells in history. Twice.
"Maya maybe you should slow down on the coffee?" Annie offered sipping her own latte.
"No! No! This is the only thing keeping me awake!" Maya chugged the rest in her cup, and got up to get a refill.
"Hey!" A voice said from behind us making me jump and throw a chair.
"Whoa!" an identical voice said.
I turned to see the teen I despised the most right now. "Ahh.... you," I snarled.
"Me..." Matthew snarled back.
A dude identical to Matthew stepped forward, "H-hey An-Annie..."
"Who are you? How do you two know each other?" I asked. "Wait is this Mark?"
Annie nodded her face becoming as red as a rose.
"Why are you hanging out with her?" Mark and Matthew asked together.
"She has a name." I butt in.
"June and I are practically sisters." Annie offered for me.
Maya came bouncing back to us with two more large coffees in her hands, and a girl her age trailing behind her.
"Annie! June!" Maya was practically bouncing off the walls. "Look my new friend!" She smiled pointing at the girl.
"Whose this Harper?" Mark asked the girl-Harper.
"I don't know," Harper shrugged. "She just came up to me after I ordered a drink and claimed we were best friends."
"Maya, I think you've had enough coffee." Annie tried to take away the coffee cup, but Maya hissed and yelled out a spell.
"Letjeti!" She yelled making Annie and I fly back against the wall.
"Geez Maya could've said no." I rubbed my neck.
"What the hell!" Mark and Matthew said at the same time.
"Eh....." I didn't know how to explain that.
Before I could think of a cover story Adam came running into the shop. "I smell one!" He said before howling.
He sniffed around the room before landing on Harper. "Hiya fellow werewolf!" He held out his hand to Harper.
