I paced back and forth in front of the house. Where could those idiots be? I kept thinking to myself. I had the answer to getting the spellbook and I had most of the ingredients to make the sun necklaces. All I had to do was get the freaking idiots home, so we could head off to the cemetery and get the spellbooks.

June and Annie came home speeding past me and into the house.

"Well I didn't think my VAMPIRE friends would be scared of the dark!" I stomped into the house behind them.

"I'm not scared of the dark," June rolled her eyes.

"I am," Annie shrugged. "What? What if a werewolf is in the woods?"

"Whatever. Anyway let's get to the cemetery." I dragged them outside.

"Wait, you figured out the spell?"

"Yes June, now let's go. We'll make the sun necklaces tonight, and leave tomorrow."

"Why are we leaving?" Annie asked sad.

"They reached out to me again." I mumbled.

"What.. um.. W-what did t-they say?" June stuttered. The only times June was ever scared was when we were out of meatballs and the Keepers.

I repeated what they told me to June "Next you're going to tell me we are out meatballs." June whined.

"They're my main ingredient for the spell." I apologized.

"Just kill me now." Mumbled June. "It's a figure of speech Annie." She said to Annie who was reaching up her hands to snap June's neck.

"I uh... I knew that." Annie awkwardly dropped her hands.

We reached the cemetery that radiated with paranormal activity tonight. Perfect night for hard spells. The moon was waning crescent and despite not being a full moon it still glowed brightly.

"Elode Crest. Beloved mother, grandmother, and widow. Many called her a witch." Annie read my grandmothers tombstone. "If I was to ever die I would want something funny like, 'Jokes over. Let me out NOW'."

"Pssh, I would want my gravestone to read, 'Don't laugh you're next.'" June laughed.

"You're gravestone did say that." Annie reminded her of the time she faked her death to stop dating some creep-o in France 1943.

"Oh, then my bucket list is finished."

"Why the hell do you have a bucket list? You're never going to die?" I asked bewildered.

"Well my friend-" June was cut off by Annie, "Uh guys it's 3:43. If we don't want to have a real grave we better hurry this up."

"Uh right." I remembered what we were really doing here. "Plutati " The ground broke and my grandmothers coffin rose in front of us.

"Damn, that's a nice coffin." I heard June mutter to herself.

"Otključati," I said the unlock spell causing the lid to the coffin to go flying away from us. I picked up a locked box from my grandmothers dead, skeleton hands. "Sorry grandma. Otključati povećati otključati!" I screamed on top of my lungs, probably waking all the other dead people in the cemetery. My grandmothers box glowed bright like the locks did earlier, and broke open to reveal to the spellbook that will help my friends.

"Is that the book?" June asked.

"Yep."

"It seems...." June trailed off.

"Like a thousand year old book that will help cast a spell to allow you to walk in the sun?"

"Yeah, that."

"Okay, let's cast the spell." I opened the purple duffle bag that I had dropped next to the floating coffin. I pulled out a container of meatballs, a plastic bag that contained ten frog eyes, and a water bottle full of golden glitter.

I placed the objects on the grass, and opened the spellbook. The spell was a little complicated, but complicated was like two plus two to me. I moved my hand in a figure eight before spouting out the words to the spell. "Demon od noć jednak smrt za drugi. The sunce jednak smrt za demon. Liječiti the demon od ovaj kletva demon držati. Ubiti dan i noć."

In front of me a gold locket appeared. It was shaped like a sun, and beside it was a gray necklace with a locket shaped like the moon that was above us tonight. "Uh, June since I used all your meatballs you can have the first sun necklace." I handed her the necklace with the sun locket on it.

"What about me?" Annie asked.

"I have to repeat the spell." I took out the supplies for the spell.

"What about the moon necklace?" Annie asked.

"That's for me. It's for the witch that made it for you. With this necklace we can repeat a simple spell and the necklace it's connected to breaks."

Annie and June's eyes went wide. They know realized that I controlled their life. I mean I would never do anything to them, so they really don't have any reason to scared, but I liked knowing they were a little scared of me.

"Demon od noć jednak smrt za drugi. The sunce jednak smrt za demon. Liječiti the demon od ovaj kletva demon držati. Ubiti dan i noć." I repeated the spell. Once again on gold necklace with a sun locket appeared in front of me, and one gray one with a moon locket.

I handed Annie her locket. As soon as I stood up I fell face first into the ground. "Ow!"

"Sorry!" Annie and June said at the same time helping me up.

"The magic I did is tiring me out." I explained.

"No dur." June said in an obvious tone.

"How about we go get coffee and cookies?" Annie offered.

I leaned against Annie, and nodded like my life depended on it because well.... it's coffee and cookies!
