A number of months had gone by since the group of boys had returned home. They were now approximately 24 days into the new year and things had slowly but surely been getting back to normal. Jay had stopped spending her days locked away and preferred to spend most of her time with her friends. The dark circles under her eyes had faded and the life seemed to flood back into her once dull dark brown eyes. Things had been good between her and Jisung. He made it a priority to talk through absolutely everything and put both of their emotions and thoughts first.

It was now their three year anniversary. The pair was currently sat at the dining room table, Jay's attention tuned into the tv in the living room as she blindly and very slowly ate her cereal. Jisung's attention, however, was on the girl wearing one of his sweatshirts with her hair tucked behind her ears. His gaze lowered and a quiet chuckle left his lips as it landed on her small hand wrapped around the handle of the spoon. Her ring finger neatly decorated with a butterfly ring, small diamonds scattered along the edge. He had unknowingly picked up a habit of fidgeting with the matching band on his own ring finger.

"Hey, butterfly. How about we go for a walk to Celestial?"

"Sure! Can I shower first?"

"Of course."

After one brown haired boy napping and a wide but loud variety of music streaming out of their bathroom, Jay was finally ready. She checked over her appearance one last time as she pulled her purse over her shoulder.

"Ready?"

"I think so, yeaa."

"Okay.. vamos. You look beautiful, by the way."

"Gracias, mi coraźon."

After a perfectly timed walk, the two entered the beautifully lit coffee shop and Jisung motioned for Jay to go sit at their usual seats in the corner on what they would describe to be the softest seats ever, joined by the best view in the whole shop. Much to Jisung's dismay, she declined and instead told him to sit so she could order.

"Hey, Jay! The usual?"

"Actually, I think I'll just get a banana mango smoothie this time. Extra banana, please. Usual for Ji, though."

After paying for their drinks, the girl wove her way through the tables and to her boyfriend in the corner. Jisung curiously eyed her yellow drink as she took a seat, scooting in to be closer to the table. He took a long sip of his iced coffee before questioning her.

"No caramel?"

"I wanted  to get something different this time.. not really in the mood for caffeine either. Want some?"

"Well, obviously."

Three banana mango smoothies and lot of laughter later, the sun had completely set and the couple was heading out of the now closed coffee shop. The only people around being the two workers on the clock. After properly placing their cups in the dish bin, they headed for the door, the bell ringing ever so softly.

"Thank you, guys. See you my next shift!"

It was where they first met and where Jisung finally mustered up the courage to ask her out due to his friend Minho's constant nagging. It was also the place their first date took place. The quiet girl's nerves got the best of her but Jisung somehow managed to calm her down, turning it into the best night of her life. Her words, not his. Though he would say his own was every single day he got to spend with her. She always thought he was being ridiculous but Jisung never minded. 1,095 days and counting. It was as if time slowed when they were together. Days felt like weeks and the years felt like an eternity. Jisung would often refer to the feeling as heaven on earth. Cliché but it's how he truly felt.

The sun shone through the cracks in between their black out curtains which Jay had specifically picked out herself. She absolutely hated sunshine in the morning. If she had it her way, which she usually did, she would sleep forever. But at last, the one thing she couldn't be in control of was the rising and falling of the sun.  Bangs stuck to her forehead as sweat coated her body, making her wake from her not so deep sleep. She instantly felt uncomfortable and hot, quickly getting out of bed and making her way to the bathroom where she proceeded to get sick. After a few minutes, Jisung finally woke and scrambled to get to where she was, pulling her hair back into a loose ponytail and resting his hand on the back of her neck atop of a cold damp wash cloth. Her body slumped down slightly, causing her to lean back against the wall and let a shaky breath out, her eyes filled with tears.

"What's wrong, baby?"

"It was probably just all those smoothies yesterday."
