The scene was cleared and the body was taken away. I stared at the red pills and wondered if my doubt was right.  It might have been a coincidence too.  I mean, Mr.Patrick was the one who called me for showing the clues he'd got on the killer. It must be nothing but a mere coincidence, I thought to myself. And I can't conclude that the killer WAS Patrick, with just some random pills. It could've also been the victim's. I sighed before getting up and walking over to the police station.

I asked for the footages near Patrick's house. After I had left, there was no sign of him outside. After a while, he had come out to throw the garbage. The time was then exactly 9:30. The time of the murder. I sighed a sigh of relief and came out the station. It was almost midnight now and the only source of transport I could think of was the train. I climbed up the bridge to get to the other side of the tracks. I  trotted down the steps deeply lost in thought. The same cerulean eyes, red pills, everything had matched. Maybe I should just keep a good check on him. As I neared the waiting area, my phone began ringing. I was already too tired to get myself into a situation now. I picked up the call anyway.

"Yeah who is it?",I answered yawning. The quiet atmosphere was making me dizzy.

"Wanna  know where the next kill is gonna be?"

A chill went through my spine and all my somnolence was washed off in an instant.

"Wh-who is it?", I asked shakily.

"Oh c'mon you know me. What are you doing waiting at the station at this hour? And ALOOONE!",his voice echoed through my head. I looked around trying to locate anyone nearby. But the place was empty and the train was nowhere to be seen.

"You've got 30 minutes to find out the location and come stop the murder",he whispered deep inside my ears.

"If your trying to mess up with me,stop right NOW!!!",I yelled.

.

.

silence....

.

.

"30 minutes",he said before hanging up the call. I did'nt know what to do. I called the police station and explained them about the phone calls I've been getting. They asked me to try holding the call for a minute ,the next time it comes. But there was no time . I don't even know if he'd call me aga-, my phone rang again.

"Don't try calling the police Meghan. You'll just end up losing anyway",the voice said from the other side. I stammered what to say and keep him in for a minute. A minute seemed too much at the moment.

"Tell me who you are if you've got the guts ",I said with all my courage.

He did'nt answer  me after that. After a few seconds,

"Trying to trace my call huh? Haha. Nice work",he said before hanging up. That was barely a minute. I wondered whether the police would've traced the call. Not long after, the police called.

"Ma'am the call is coming just a few meters away from you; from the payphone in Chunyoung station. I freezed. I WAS standing in Chunyoung station.

I looked around and in the farthest corner, could see the payphone door wide open and the phone hanging down . I gulped.

I examined the station from side to side ,when finally I spotted the figure of a man near one of the tracks.

"You know where's my next kill?......HERE!! and the one I'm glad to murder tonight is YOU!!",he yelled from across.

I squinted my eyes to see if I could make out his face. But half of it was covered with a thick, black scarf and secluded his identity completely, just like the first time I met him, if i'm not wrong. He walked with slow steps towards me. Farther down the tracks, I could hear the faint cry of the engine. I looked back at the man.He looked like he was ready to sprint. The place was more than just deserted. Not even the common creepy crawlies were seen around. It was void of all things with a soul, except for me and my opponent. In a flash, the man sprinted ,jumped over the platform and came charging towards me. My brain was loaded with a lot of stuff. I wondered what MY move should be......but it was too late, he had already pointed the knife to my throat when a hand came from back of me, blocking the attack. I turned around swiftly only to come face to face with Mr.Patrick. The doubts that had been blinding me was immediately washed off. The killer was right in front of me, but so was Patrick.

"What are you doing here?",I asked him panting, now with adrenaline boosting up my nerves and my impulses getting stronger.

"I think you keep forgetting. I AM A DETECTIVE!!!just like you",he said trying to keep a calm expression , though he was all the more frustrated.

"I'm sorry but what are we supposed to do now?",I asked sliding from side to side as the guy swung his knife at all possible chances.

"What about we have a cup of coffee and solve things with Mr.Killer?"

"NICE TRY PATRICK. DO BETTER NEXT TIME!! I yelled, the distance between me and Patrick becoming larger and in the middle stood the killer. Now I and Patrick were at two ends of the station paltform. The killer charged towards Patrick when the train came dashing by and the scarf the guy was wearing flew off leaving his face exposed. With the light of the moon being the only source of light at the moment, the man turned towards me as my eyes widened with shock.

..........It was PATRICK. But he was standing right opposite the guy. This was another Patrick. I shook my head looking at the two Patricks simultaneously looking at me. I looked from one of them to the other, but my mind was still in the process of capturing what I just saw. The train hooted to a stop making all the passengers board down . The guy who looked JUST like Patrick glared at me for a moment before disappearing in with the crowd. I tried tracking him out the crowd, but he was already lost and gone.

Patrick tapped on my shoulder once the platform was once again void of nothing.

"I need an explanation",I said crossing my arms and ready to hear whatever bullshit he was going to say me.

He stood there looking at the ground for a few seconds before he finally muttered....

.

.

.

"He's my twin brother."
