"Calum! What the fuck are you doing here?" Luke shouted, power walking towards a sleepy and drunk Calum on my front steps.
I opened my door a little, Calum's very drunk body falling a little. He looked up at me, his cheeks wet and his eyes red.
"I said, what the fuck are you doing here?" Luke shouted, grabbing Calum's shirt and pulling him up.
Calum looked at him, not fighting back. Luke tightened his grip on Calum's shirt, pulling him close and shaking him a little.
"Why are you here, Hood?" Luke growled.
"I came to tell Alana that I love her." He slurred, now trying to pull away.
I stood on the step, paralyzed.
"She doesn't want you here." Luke spoke, pushing Calum away.
Calum pushed him back a little, "Well I love her more than you."
"Oh yeah? That's why you've been denying it for ages."
"I was being stupid. It was a mistake."
"You're a fucking idiot Calum." Luke shouted.
Calum pushed Luke, causing him to trip over and fall. Luke was quick to stand up, grabbing Calum's arms and kicking him harshly in the stomach. They started a full on physical fight, punching, kicking, hurting one another. I stood there, watching, unable to move. I didn't hate Luke for what he was doing, I wanted Calum to feel pain and I wanted Calum to understand the pain he put me through. But I didn't want him to be so hurt that he'd bleed. I wanted everything to be okay.
"Luke.." I croaked, trying to move.
He didn't hear me as they carried on fighting. Luke had a cut lip, and his cheek was bruising from where Calum had punched him. Calum's eye was bruised and a gash on his neck was bleeding heavily.
Calum grabbed the empty glass bottle he had thrown last night, using it to defend himself.
"Don't you dare touch me anymore Hemmings or I'll smash your head in." Calum shouted, scrambling to his feet.
"You wouldn't dare." Luke hissed.
Luke pushed the bottle out of Calum's hand, causing it to smash on the floor into a million little pieces. I was tired, I didn't know what to do and there were two boys I loved so much fighting in front of me.
Calum screeched, Luke pulling his arm back behind his back. Calum was quick to pull away, pushing Luke into the broken glass and using his foot to press down on him.
"I love her way more than you do." Calum shouted, his bad eye twitching.
Luke winced under the pressure and pain of Calum's foot, "You don't know how to love."
"Alana! I fucking love you." Calum shouted.
I shook my head, putting my hands over my eyes. I wanted to help them both but I couldn't. I hated being weak. I hated all of this.
Luke screamed in pain as Calum pushed down more on him, Luke reaching for Calum's leg. Calum fell, falling and hitting his head off of the concrete path. He rubbed his head, standing up and staring at the blood on his hand.
The world stood still for a moment, everyone seemed to be looking at everyone. Calum held his hands up, backing away. He turned to me, looking me dead in the eye, not breaking any eye contact. His mouth quivered a bit, "I love you."
He turned, running away. Away from me. Away from Luke. Luke limped over to me, grabbing onto the wall for support.
"Alana..." He stammered.
"Luke, get in. You're so hurt." I cried, pulling him gently on my arm.
I lead him to the front room, sitting him down on the longest sofa. He winced a little, some glass obviously still sticking into his back. I smiled down at him, rubbing his head. He was sticking up for me, he was trying to keep Calum away from me.
"Alana? You know, I love you..so much." He stammered.
"I love you so much too Luke." I smiled, kissing his forehead.
"Are you sure?"
"So very sure."
I left him for a moment, collecting any first aid things I would need. He was so in pain, he was so bloody. He wasn't what I wanted to see. I didn't want to see him in pain.
He lay there as I washed his face, hands, whatever was bleeding. He smiled faintly at me, picking some glass out of his hand. He was so fragile yet so strong. And I loved him. I love him so fucking much. He hasn't messed me about, he's the man of my dreams. I loved him. I loved him. I needed him and he needed me. We were a team. I love you Luke Hemmings. I love you so very much.
I don't love you to the moon and back. I just love you to the moon, because once you're at the moon with the person you love, why would you go back?
