I was screaming inside with happiness. Today was the day I could get my wedding dress. I was with Larissa and mum and we all seem pretty crazy and in awe. I really wanted a pretty dress, one that was both simple and elegant. I also wanted to impress people.

"Oh darling I'm so excited." Mum grinned as we got into the shop.

"Me too, I hope you like the dress." I say, biting my nails.

"Alana, you'll look good in anything." Larissa laughed.

I nodded, grinning at two of the 4 most important people in my life. I was so nervous, but a good nervous and a happy nervous.

The ladies ushered me into the dressing room, helping me get into the dress. My stomach flipped with joy as I stared at myself in the mirror, I looked so happy. I didn't care how much money will be put into the wedding or how many people even turn up, as long as I can marry Luke, I'll be okay. I know he's the love of my life, he's everything I've looked for. My search is over.

My breath became heavy as I stood ready to show mum and Larissa. I grinned behind the curtain, "You guys ready to see?"

They both squealed, showing their excitement. The curtain opened up on me and their faces lit up when they saw me. Mum rushed over, kissing me and hugging me, her tears cold on my bare shoulders. Larissa seemed to cry a little too, her hands on her head as she rocked back and forth with a smile on her face.

"You okay Larissa?" I laughed, trying to get mum off me.

"I..I'm..I'm so proud." She laughed, wiping her eyes.

I tilted my head, a huge smile on my face. It was sweet that Larissa and I had become so close and she had seen me change. I was forever thankful for the people I surrounded myself with after Calum. They certainly helped me through a lot and changed my perspective on love. And I'll forever thank Luke for giving my heart a second chance, I thought that organ was a goner after Calum. But hey, you shouldn't give up I guess.

"Luke is gonna fall on a whole new level of love when he see's you in that." Larissa smiled, holding my shoulder as we stared at my dress in the mirror.

I smiled, looking down and playing with my fingers, "Yeah, I think he'll like it."

"Honey, he'll love it. You look fabulous." Mum grinned.

I grinned back. I've never felt so beautiful. I loved my choice and I loved my life.

"Who would think that after 9 months of dating you and Luke would be getting married?" Mum said.

"Yeah, who would have guessed." I said, "And it's been 8 months since Calum left."

"Just forget him honey, you're getting married soon."

I shrugged it off, stepping down from the podium and heading to the dressing room. I wanted to get back to my fiance. I wanted to kiss him and tell him I love him, something we agreed to do on a daily basis.

"You really do look beautiful in that dress Alana." I heard Larissa say.

"I love you guys." I smile behind the curtain.

I really do love them. I really fucking do.
