It was a storming night today. I was watching movies with Amy. It was a Saturday and I'm just glad to have a relaxing day with my wife,work is horrible. I miss the days where I was just the hero of mobius but since eggface is no more,I need to have another lifestyle because sitting around isn't me. I need something to do,I just can't sit around and do nothing besides I need food to survive. Everyone was kind of sad when they heard from my retirement but they understood why it must be done,also they knew I was going back into action if I was needed. Everyone knew about Amy and I too,Thankfully they were being supportive. I work as a personal trainer now. I know what you're thinking right now. Sonic why would you choose that,like come on there are a lot more better paid jobs. I love running and if I have to work to get money then I want to have a job,where atleast I have fun in it. I love this work so much to be honest and also it's just a side job. My main job was working at an Orphanage with Amy. We had a lot of stress going on the last couple of weeks. There was this one family who were a pain in the ass. Thankfully we cleared everything up with the help of police. Now this kid is safe being with us. Poor him,Amy was ready to throw some hands because of those so called parents. I found and still do find it cute the way she reacted back then. As much as I love to help around people,I just need some time times for myself. Sometimes I just want to relax and be lazy,working is exhausting after all.  Amy was laughing just like I do right now. We are watching Jonny English a real classic comedy movie if you ask me. The both of us are having a great time until we heard a powerful thunder strike and the next thing I know is,Amy jumping on top of me like always she does,since she's scared of thunders and after I progressed what just happened before I could react the lights went off too.

"So much for a relaxing Saturday night I scoffed in frustration.

"Sonic I'm scared" Amy whined quietly.

"I know Amy,I guess the powers won't go on anytime soon, so just stay here for a minute alright ? I'll get the candles" I told her. I put her carefully on the couch and got up. I went to the kitchen and on the counter of the kitchen table was laying a flashlight. I turned it on went to Amy and handed her the flashlight,so she can feel at least a little bit safe. I went back to the kitchen opened the last drawer and took out multiple candles out. Amy loved Melone smell so I got her last week candles with that smell,I'm glad I did it. Now these candles will be useful. I came back with the candles and took a lighter out of the candle box. I lighted all of the candles.

"Much better right ?" I asked her chuckling lightly.

She nodded in agreement,sighing in relief and turned off the flashlight. She put it beside her.

"At least these candles give us more romentic vibes" Amy remarked which made me laugh.

"Usually that's great but the problem is I'm not that romentic and it would be more useful if I could take you out on a date but like this it's not really that great. I mean we use the candles as a source of light right now and for nothing else. Pretty upsetting if you ask me." I said while scratching the back of my ear.

"Sonic T. Hedgehog have you spent time way to much with Shadow again or why do you say something like this ? You're not this much grumpy on usual bases." Amy joked and playfully punch me on my shoulder. I laughed brightly at her reaction and we ended up in a playful fight. Throwing pillows at each other. We had a pillow fight for hours and we forgot the time and in what of frustrating situation we are in. After a while both of us were exhausted and laid on the couch again. The pillows were laying on the ground,most of them at least. We talked about funny memories from our past until the lights turned on again.

"Wow we did beat the time in a very productive way" Amy stated amazed. I just nodded and blowed out the candles. I put everything back where I got it from and cleaned up the living room,Amy helping me out. We got back on the couch and started to watch our movie again.

"The lights can always turn off again. I had fun playing around like that with you" Amy said to me.

"Oh please Amy we can do that as often as you wish without the power turning off." I responded in amusement.
