November 3rd
"Look at how big he's getting!" Dylan squeals. They found out the night she proposed to her boyfriend that she was pregnant. They've been doing everything they can for their baby boy to make sure he's healthy and she can go through a safe pregnancy. She's roughly twenty six weeks and the doctors say that her pregnancy is going well. She hasn't been so excited in a long time. He loves seeing how happy she is. "He likes to kick me!" She smiles tracing her hand over her stomach and watching her baby boy move around accordingly.
"We almost have a baby!" He smiles kissing her bump. It earns another kick which makes him smile. "Sorry." He chuckles at his girlfriend who shrugs it off. She loves feeling the kicks.
"He's very active today!" She smiles leaning against the chair. "You are pushing on something you should not be pushing on." She sucks in a sharp breath moving her hand around in hopes of getting their boy to move. She sighs a breath of relief when he finally moves and she sits down. Shawn sits on the arm of the chair and looks down at her.
"What should we name him?" He has the nursery almost finished for their new boy. This is a huge project that he's taken on all on his own. Dylan's tried to get him help or even help him herself but he won't let her. He says that she'll give the baby clothes and food and a safe place for nine months so he will give the baby a room that he can feel safe in outside of the womb. She's excited for the nursery to be finished and to have their baby boy in a safe room. They have cameras a barred window and a keypad on the door. It seems excessive especially seeing as they'll have him in the crib in their bedroom most of the time but knowing that there baby boy is locked down as much as he can he gives her a sense of security. She knows her lifestyle is gruelling and hectic so she wants her baby to be safe. She wants to keep her kids out of the spotlight so that when her babies get old enough they can decide for themselves wether they want to be in the spotlight or not.
"I have so many ideas! I love Jacob and Jakari!" He giggles and Dylan smiles.
"I don't know how I feel about the J names." She mumbles and he shrugs softly. "What about Gabriel or William or something like that?" She looks up at him. He tries not to laugh at her old man suggestions. "My dads middle name is William and I want to give our baby boy a strong name. I want him to know that he is strong. I like the longer names so that we can shorten it. Like Alexander." She nods. Shawn can't contain his laughter at how serious his girlfriend is.
"Bubba, we can name him something that's meaningful without have eighteen letters in it." He kisses her forehead. "I like Gabriel though. We can put that one on the list." He smiles writing the name down. "I still think that Shawn junior should be on there." He turns with his arms crossed making Dylan laugh this time.
"There can only be one of you." She smiles and he rolls his eyes sitting on the ground in front of her.
"How about Greyson? Or Paxton? I've always loved the name Hudson?" He smiles and she nods motioning for him to write them down.
"I still think William or Gabriel!" She chuckles earning a kicking from her baby boy. "He agrees!" She smiles at her boyfriend who rolls his eyes placing his hands on her bump.
"Are you a Hudson?" He whispers. Their baby boy gives no reaction. "Are you a William?" He looks up at his bride to be earning nothing back. "Are you a Jacob?" Nothing gets again. "Alexander?" He waits but still nothing. "Babe he doesn't like your names." Shawn shrugs. "Gabriel?" He hums. He feels a rough kick against his hand. "You want your name to be Gabriel huh?" He looks up at Dylan who's smiling foolishly.
"I told you he liked my names!" She teases and Shawn rolls his eyes.
"He picked his own name. We have a baby Gabriel on the way." He smiles while the baby starts to kick harder.
"You're getting him all excited!" She chuckles and he rolls his eyes touching her bump again.
"Don't cause your mama trouble. She's already bought your entire wardrobe until you move out." He smiles. "We love you baby boy, more than words can tell."
...
"Oh my god it's beautiful!" She smiles while Shawn's hands wrap around her waist. She stares at the blue walls and the train he painted on the crib. "He's gonna love it." She smiles looking around. "Oh you put his name on the walls!" She smiles looking around the bedroom. He packed the closet organizing it but smallest to biggest. And a dresser packed with his jumpers and certain pairs of pants. All of his shirts his pacifiers and all of the other things she purchased. The car seat sits on the ground as well. Dylan installed one part of the car seat already in the Range Rover. She has her birthing bag and their baby bag in the car as well. She's prepared for it whenever he comes though she hopes he'll bake a little longer. They're getting a 3D ultra sound soon to see if they can tell who their baby boy is going to look like. Mostly she wants a happy son. A boy who's excited about the world and wants to do anything and everything just because he can. She wants a baby that will love his life and share pieces of it with them too. She needs for the world to be as lovely to her baby boy as she hopes he will be to the world.
"I had to make it as personal as possible for our little bean!" He smiles. "You're already doing so much I thought maybe I'd do all of the rest." He smiles while she stares around.
"Can you come and cuddle me? Please?" She smiles leading him to their bedroom. She loved their boys room but she's excited to spend time with him in their room.
"What's wrong love? Or are you just tired?" He rubs her shoulder softly and she rolls her eyes.
"I just thought maybe I could do something for you!" She smiles sitting next to him. "You spent hours today finishing peanuts nursery." She hums rubbing his shoulders. He smiles at the gesture and allows for her to continue. Though he won't let it last long he's loving the attention.
"You know if you really," she stops him while she kisses his neck. She loves from his shoulders down his arms bringing herself in front of him rather than behind. "This is nice." He smiles looking at the way she works on his hands.
"It gets better don't worry!"
