Adrien's POV:
Adrien had been glad to see his friend (*cough cough* Soon to be girlfriend *cough cough*) early in class. However, she seemed to be much paler than the day before. He hoped she was alright. However, Chloe couldn't keep her mouth shut, which caused a downhill spiral for Marinette. Because of this, his muscles tensed, ready to take an akuma for her. However, much to his horror, she paled extremely as she stood, swaying slightly. He subconsciously looked to Peter, noticing some strange glint in his eyes before a flash of concern dulled the glint. Adrien heard Alya call Marinette's name making Adrien turn to look at her too late. "Marinette?" He said, as she fell backward. However, he wasn't there to catch her. The moment the thud of her head hitting the edge of the step, the class was silent. Even Chloe seemed shocked. Adrien was the first to jump up to check on his princess. What he saw terrified him even more. "Blood..." Adrien muttered. Immediately, he pulled of his white jacket, trying to press it to the wound.
"Help her!" Adrien yelled to his classmates. Ms. Bustier had grabbed her phone, dialing the number to the paramedics while the class began to mutter, terrified. Peter ran over to her. "I've got this Adrien, thanks for helping her." Peter held the jacket to her head while Adrien checked on her pulse. I can't lose her. Not now! Adrien muttered as he felt for her pulse. Once he found it, still going strong, he breathed a sigh of relief. "She's gonna be okay Peter." He stated. Peter looked genuinely relieved. "Thank goodness." Both said out loud.
Peter's POV:
Peter was scared for the raven-haired girl's life. He may have been given the order to use her, however he didn't want her dead. She shouldn't have passed out like that... Peter thought as the boy he was not allowed to touch tended to her carefully. He may have been promised freedom for the akumatization of this girl, however she had begun to grow on him. If she died, he didn't know if he could live with himself. He was snapped out of his thoughts by Adrien's voice. "She's gonna be okay Peter." A weight seemed to have been lifted off of his shoulders as he breathed a sigh of relief. After a few more minutes, the paramedics arrived, picking Marinette up and carrying her out on the stretcher.
Peter began to think. And soon, his mind thought to one thing. This shouldn't have happened. Unless she's beginning to break free from my power...
Marinette's POV:
Marinette woke up, not knowing where she was. She looked around an unknown white room, until she looked to see a heart monitor. She then remembered the incident from the classroom. She had fainted. In front of the class. She groaned loudly. So embarrassing. Marinette thought to herself. She felt her ears before realizing she didn't have her bag or her earring on her. She bit back a horrified screech as she tried to stand up in a panic, only to be pushed down by a nurse. "Woah there dear." She said. "What's got you so frazzled?" The nurse asked. "I just need my earrings back." She said awkwardly. The nurse chuckled. "I was given your purse and since I had to take them off of you for an X-ray, I put them in there. They're obviously important to you." Marinette thanked her as she looked inside to see Tikki curled up holding onto the earrings. Marinette smiled at her kwami before she picked up the earrings, putting them on.
The nurse smiled at her before she exited the room to tell the doctors that Marinette had woken up. Once the nurse had left the room, Tikki flew up, giving Marinette a tiny hug. "Marinette! I'm so glad you're okay!" Marinette giggled slightly as she answered. "Sorry for worrying you Tikki." Tikki was about to say something else before a doctor entered with the nurse. "Hello Ms. Dupain Cheng. How are you feeling? You were unconscious for three days, so we need to run some tests and then we can let visitors in." The doctor explained. It took a while, but he had finally finished the examination and allowed the first two visitors into the room.
"Marinette! Dear, you had us so worried!" Stated the petite woman as she entered the room, Marinette's father not too far behind. Sabine and Tom hugged their daughter, mixing their annoyance and relief. So Marinette ended up being half smothered with love and half scolded. As it turns out, she's now grounded with no video games for a week for neglecting her health and scaring her parents. Her next visitors were Alya and Nino, who came bearing gifts. Meaning Marinette received a bouquet of flowers and a card signed by everyone in their class (including Lila, whose note may or may not have been scribbled out later). Peter came in with her sketchbook and a sweet little bear, before briefly talking and him leaving quickly. And finally, her last visitor: Chloe.

OK! That was the final chapter before the hiatus! Did I write this at 2:45 in the morning? Yes! Will this most likely hurt me? Probably! Anyway, I hope you all are safe and well! Thank you all for reading this book! I'm very grateful it is interesting to you all no matter how much cringe I go through when I re-read it! Anyway, I must take my leave now, and I will be back with a few new chapters in August! I'll see you all then!
