After Bobbi closed her place up for the night, John came back with his stuff to her office.  She then drove him to her place, helped him with his stuff—despite his protests—and got up to the door of her apartment.  She fumbled with the keys, while holding some of his belongings.  He just sighed.  "If you had listened to me this wouldn't be a problem," he scoffed.  "Here," he said, taking back his belongings and allowing her to open the door.

"I was just being helpful," she retorted.

"I know.  But I got it, sweetheart," he assured her, walking inside.

"Oh no.  Not calling me that," she told him.

"Alright, but you are sweet," he shrugged.  "Where do I put my stuff?"

"Right by the couch is fine," she said.

He nodded, placing his belongings on the floor next to the couch.  Looking around, he took in her apartment.  It wasn't much, but it was in LA after all.  It was decorated simply and in a comforting way.  He felt safe there.  "Nice," he smirked.

   "Thanks."

   "Where can I crash?"

   "You can take the couch."

"How long can I be here?"

   "As long as you need."

"Do you do this for just anyone?"

"You mean, do I just let strange men into my house?" She asked with a playful grin.

   "I guess," he shrugged.

"I do actually, not super often and they don't end up staying too long."

   "Okay," he said simply.

"Well, I'm gonna take a shower.  You hungry?" She asked, walking towards the hallway beside the kitchen.

   "Yeah."

"Kay, there's food in the fridge.  You can relax."

   "Thank you, Bobbi.  Really."

"Yeah," she smiled, walking into the hallway, taking off her jacket.

Being incredibly hungry, John rushed over to the fridge, swung open the door, and snatched a sandwich on the rack.  He unwrapped it, not caring what was in it, and took a few large bites.  It was delicious—well, delicious for a day-old sandwich that was in a fridge.  As he began to nearly inhale it, Bobbi came back into the living space.  "Oh wait, don't eat my-" she said, stopping in her tracks to see John eating her sandwich.

   "Sorry..."

She sighed.  "It's fine.  Go ahead and eat it," she said disappointedly as she turned back around to go take a shower.

John slowly took another bite.  Now, he just felt bad.  He felt like he wasn't hitting the right marks with her.  Maybe it was just to early to say anything on their relationship.  They did just meet after all.  However, John was one to fall in love at first sight.  He did exactly that when he was a nineteen-year old enlisted soldier meeting Jess for the first time.  John just frowned at the sandwich that reminded him of how shitty his life was.
