Episode 3.3: Conflict

   At about three in the morning, Sharon woke and couldn't fall back asleep.  An idea had popped into her head and she couldn't shake it.  She got out of bed and and fumbled for her phone, dropping it on the floor.  "Dammit," she cursed.

   She then turned the light on and carefully reached to pick up her phone, holding her belly as she came back up.  She scrolled through her contacts and tapped on Shuri, ready to text her, but her mind went blank.  Sighing, she went down stairs to get herself a glass of water.  Sam, in the spare bedroom, heard faints sounds of the refrigerator and grumbled.  He released Sharon could've had a nightmare or something, so he picked himself up and went downstairs, very groggy.

   He then noticed Sharon sitting at the breakfast table, drinking some water with her phone on the table.  "Hey.  Why you up?" He asked, yawning and sitting across from her. 

"I just...need a minute. Let me finish my water," she said as he sat back, looking at her exhausted face.

"Okay," he said, frowning subtlety at her.

She finished her glass of water and then Sam leaned forward. "Alright, you finished your water. What's wrong?"

"Well, first of all I can barely sleep. Second, I have an idea to find James. I totally forget about the tracker in his arm, so I'm gonna text Shuri about it."

"Well, I'm glad you didn't have a nightmare," he said.

"Thanks again for staying Sam, but you can go back to bed. I'm sorry I woke you," she apologized.

"Hey, it's alright. But once you do your little text, go on back to bed and get some sleep, okay?"

"I'll attempt it," she said half-jokingly as he smirked at her.

"Goodnight Shar."

"Or good morning," she mumbled to herself.

A V E N G E R S  H. Q.

   Once Sharon had contacted Shuri about Bucky's arm, she was given the location.  She wanted to go and get him that second, but she knew that they had to plan with the Avengers so she attempted to get some sleep.  She got about four hours in total.  After getting ready, she called Maria to let her know she was going to the Avengers facility to discuss getting Bucky back.  Sharon felt at ease knowing she could always count on Maria.  She then went with Sam in her flying car towards the facility.

   Sharon and Sam stood in front of the meeting table as the team piled in with Kate sitting left adjacent to the head of the table.  Eli then sat next to her with Joaquin across from her.  Cassie sat next to Eli and RJ next to her.  "Okay so where's my father?" RJ asked just as everyone sat down.

   "The Galápagos Islands.  It's kind of remote," Sharon explained. 

   "Well then let's go," RJ said.

   "Hold on a second.  She called a meeting for a reason, RJ," Sam told him as RJ sighed.  "They kicked our asses last time.  I think we need to humble ourselves.  We're not the only team out there with powers and gadgets.  Our mission is to save Barnes, not so much the stone right now.  Well actually the stone is a little girl named Kobik now..."
