From the faucet, water sprayed out, splashing Clint in the face as he attempted to cover it with his hand. He tried using the wrench to fix it, turning the spout ring, but it wasn't working. Kate then appeared in the room, sipping a mug of coffee. "Did you try turning it on and off again?" She asked with a deadpan expression.
"Ha ha ha," he said sarcastically, causing her to smirk as hid her it behind her mug.
"Try banging it with the wrench," she told him, leaning against the island.
He looked back at her with an annoyed expression. "Try it," she urged him.
He grumbled and then whacked with the wrench. Miraculously, it worked with only a little bit of water leaking. He turned to her, ready for her boasting. "What would you do without me, Clint?" She grinned, placing her mug on the countertop.
"Probably would be dead..."
"And judging by this you'd have a very wet kitchen."
Grabbing a towel, he flashed her a small smirk and started drying the countertop and the wooden floor. "So...you've gotten pretty serious with RJ, huh?" He asked.
"I swear to God if you're gonna give me the talk...I am 29 years old, Clint."
"And you act like you're 19."
"So what's this leading to? What do you want to say?"
"Just curious. I care about you, Kate. I wanna know that you're doing well."
She smiled. "Well, I am. He's great. He's so caring. I love him so much, Clint."
Clint smiled back. "I felt the same way with Laura. I never expected she'd actually marry me, you know? I'm just a guy from Iowa who's good at not missing targets."
Kate shook her head. "You're more than that, Clint...you're more than that to me. You're a hero...and so is RJ."
Clint nodded. "You got yourself a good guy, Kate, but I can see the torment. It's all over his face."
"He's been through a lot."
"I know...keep an eye on him," he told her as he continued to dry the floor.

Sam, sitting on the edge of the bed in the basement, was on the phone with his family, talking about the situation. He tried to keep lighthearted about it to ease their fears. "Uncle Sam, what's the farm like? Does it smell?" Jody asked, causing Sam to chuckle.
"Not really. It's nice out here. I see why Clint picked a place out of the way."
"Get some alone time with Monica?" Jody with a raised brow.
"Jody!" Sarah scolded, slapping his arm.
Sam chuckled again. "Here and there..."
"When are you going back to D.C.?" Gideon asked.
"In a few days."
"We'll all pray for you."
"Thank you. We need all the praying we can get," Sam said. "You guys stay safe okay?"
"You too, Sam. We love you and we miss you," Sarah said, cashing Sam to tear up.
"I love you, guys. I really do. I love you..." he said, choked up.
