Bnha ship opinions because why not

Kiribaku

It made sense that I would do this ship back-to-back with Tododeku, as the two go pretty hand-in-hand. I haven't met many Tododeku shippers who don't ship Kiribaku, or vice versa.

This ship is among my favorites. Something about the dynamic and subtle development really makes it shine. Surprisingly, I don't like it because they're opposites, because I don't think they are. I've heard it said that the dynamic is the same as Kacchaco, which I disagree with.

I think that Kirishima, unlike some people, wouldn't try to 'contain' Bakugo's, uh... issues. I think these two would really build each other up, each would bring the other to their full potential. Sure, Kirishima's sweet and pure, but he's also passionate, decisive and will not hesitate when it comes to most situations. They have more in common than a lot of people seem to think.

This ship is cute and all, but I get bored seeing the same basic things over and over when there's so much genuine connection there. I think that too many people consider Kirishima a little cinnamon roll who can do no wrong. He's impulsive and quick to act, very capable of putting up a fight. Yes, his more lighthearted nature can be helpful for Bakugo, but that's not all he is. Bakugo x Kirishima is not fire x water, it's fire x fire.

I feel like I just went on a pointless rant. It's like midnight and I'm just following a random train of thought.

Anyway, you get my point. I love this ship because they're equals, different but with a shared burning passion.

Yes, I know the Kiribaku fandom isn't ideal. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that... but I'm just not that affected by it. My only real thing is that you guys need to lay off the Bakudeku shippers. Idk what's going on there, but there's like a constant one-sided war.

On a lighter note, this ship just gives me so much joy. I actually have it to thank for getting me into the show, so that's cool. The little moments throughout season 3 that hint at something going on just make me happy. I have the genuine belief that these two boys would be really happy together. None of that unbalance or tension gets in the way.

I'm rambling now. I just like it a lot, ok? My opinions fluxuate a lot, but I happen to be in a very Poprocks mood. I might go through and change this later when I'm feeling more neuteral, idk.

I recently made a discovery (thank you @thenervouschild) that a shipping wiki exists!! I scrolled the Kiribaku section for so long, and there is so much evidence that I had no idea existed. Go read it for yourself, it's insane. I seriously am so proud of whoever had the idea to have a shipping wiki in this fandom. Just go read the Kiribaku section, you'll get what I mean. Really, read all the sections, there's evidence for everything.
