Scratch what I said before I guess.
Right off the bat, I actually like this ship quite a bit. Deku has a very similar interaction with Shinsou as he does with Todoroki, where he inadvertently helps him out. Their differing personalities might make an interesting dynamic. I also just love Shinsou.
And, kind of like Shinkami, Shinsou could really benefit from Deku's trust and optimism, which could help his self-confidence.
Of course, the problem is that he is an extemely minor character, so that interaction is the only one we get. Well, you wouldn't know he's a minor character from the fan base, but he's pretty much only important for one episode, although I think we might see more of him.
I wouldn't say I like them together as much as I like Deku with Bakugou or Todoroki, just because I see less of a relationship, and more of a friendship with them. I'd really like to see Deku and Shinsou become good friends, but I don't know if it should go farther than that. I really just want to see Shinsou making a bunch of friends who will build him up.
Oof, getting sidetracked again. I forgot how much I love this guy. I just want him to be happy, and Deku too, obviously, but the more I think about it, the less I like them as a ship. I can't put a finger on why it just seems a little off, but it could be for any of the reasons I just listed; they're better as friends, they only have one interaction, we don't know that much about Shinsou, etc.
I still stand by what I said before, I certainly don't dislike this ship, it's just not my favorite, and I think they'd work better as slowly becoming friends.

Художественная прозаI'm bored, and have pretty strong opinions about this. Read the first chapter for more of an idea of what this is about because I don't want to make this super long
