Logan sighed as he got up from his bed at precisely 6:00am. Although he secretly agreed with Virgil that it was an ungodly early hour Logan knew better than to disrupt his circadian rhythm and, more importantly, he knew that the other "light" sides would berate him with why hasn't Thomas' daily itinerary been made or Logan is that you? Breaking your schedule I'm shocked, I genuinely thought you were a robot, or a Logan I'm so displeased, you're normally so responsible and predictable accompanied by a laugh or a chuckle if he didn't wake up at 6:00 am sharp. It was all in good nature, he knew this, but he still couldn't shake the hollow feeling he got whenever it was said. The few days across Thomas's lifespan that Logan had not done his usual tasks before the morning was over the other sides had used it as an excuse to do nothing for the whole day. They had the audacity to blame him for their state of unproductiveness and in turn causing Thomas to do mindless tasks, like watching Parks and Rec, for the day's entirety. After a while, however, Logan realized they were right and if he wanted Thomas to have any hope of being productive this miscalculation would have to be corrected. As such Logan was up and dressed by 6:05 and headed downstairs to the kitchen to get his morning sustenance before starting his workload. Logan once again reassured himself that this was for the best, after all he could get his work done in peace as he would be the only side up for at least 3 hours. This was fine. He wasn't envious of their ability to sleep late and not get reprimanded. He was fine with the normal procedure of him going back upstairs to his room the moment the other sides barreled down the stairs. Maybe if he said if enough times he would believe it. After brewing himself a cup of coffee and spreading Crofters jam on his whole wheat slice of bread Logan started his work. As if on cue, the remaining sides slowing started emerging from their respective rooms at around 9:00/9:30 with Patton getting up first following by Virgil then Roman. Roman clearly needed his beauty sleep after all. Logan collected his papers and headed up the stairs where he heard lively chatter the minute he had reached the top of the stairwell. They only started conversations when you were gone the voice in Logan's head whispered. You're boring, a heartless, uncaring, unfeeling machine who doesn't deserve their love. That's why they don't appreciate you. What's there to appreciate? With a shake of his head Logan continued to his room. These voices were 'just another Tuesday', if he used that phrase right. When Logan had finally finished his work- and another six cups of coffee- the clock read 1:00am. Logan had, unsurprisingly, forgotten to eat both lunch and dinner. Logan debated grabbing something to eat or just going to bed and getting in his normal five hours of sleep. That was a good circadian rhythm right? After all he was just a metaphysical being, he didn't actually need sleep let alone the seven to eight recommenced hours for an adult. That's what he told himself, despite not actually knowing if it were true. His stomach growled again but Logan decided that since he took too long to do his work he obviously didn't deserve food. Logan headed to bed and as he drifted off to sleep he could of sworn he saw a disapproving shake of a head from a certain reptilian side.
