Previously, the three dark sides were hanging out with each other when Logos felt a slight tug. He sighed, realized that Thomas must be trying to summon Logan. "What's the matter Logos?" Janus asked softly. "It's Thomas, he's trying to summon me." "Oh my green eggs and Pam the big reveal!" Remus said excitedly! "It's going to be so good oooo I would pay big money to see the looks on their faces~~" "Are you not ready Logos?" Logos got up and brushed off his outfit. "Ready as I'll ever be" "Well, you don't have my best wishes." "Yeah, fracture a femur Teach!" Smiling ever so slightly, Logos popped into Thomas' living room.

"No." Logos agreed. "I most certainly am not". The others stared shocked at Logos' appearance. "Who are you! Guys who is he!" Thomas exclaimed. "I... I don't know kiddo." "Mmmm ditto" "Virgil!!??" Virgil looked like a deer caught in headlights before he managed to snap himself out of it. "I have no clue". "What do you mean, I thought you said you were one of them!!?" Virgil flinched before saying "I mean yeah... I was but he," Virgil waved over to Logos "was definitely not around back then" Thomas looked like he wanted to interrogate Virgil further but Logos interrupted him. "Virgil is correct Thomas, he did not know of my existence. There is no need to press him for information he does not have" The others stared at Logos before finally asking him, "Who are you?" Logos smiled before saying, "Well I could straight up tell you, but where's the fun in that" Virgil sighed while the other three just looked confused. "Thomas" Logos turned, addressing the only person that really mattered. "...yes?" "What were you all doing before my arrival" Thomas thought for a moment before responding, "throwing out ideas?" "Correct, but would you say they were especially plausible ideas" "Probably not" "Once again you are right so what were you missing from the equation so to speak" Thomas' eyes widened before responding "Logic" Logos bowed. "At your service Thomas, though I do prefer to go by the name Logos" They stared at him before they all started to shout different things. "How are you Logic!!!" "Where is Logan??" "Why is your name the plural of logo?" "How does Thomas have another side?" Logos beat his wings, restoring order to the room as the others were too entranced by his plumage to speak. "My preferred name derives from the Greek appeal meaning logic or reasoning, it has nothing to do with a 'logo' " Logos glared at Roman. "As for my creation, a side can be 'born' or 'changed' when another side either dies or chooses to leave a part of himself behind." Logos paused for a moment before saying, "Logan is dead" Logos reveled in the looks on the others faces. He knew it wasn't completely true but for all intents and purposes it was. Logan was a stage in his life that was over, he had left it behind, and he'd be damned if he had to relive it. "Whaaaaaaa-" Thomas started Roman cut in saying, "Ah ha! You're just Deceit! Logan can't be gone! The door to his room is still here!" "Logos smirked before saying, "yeah that was an illusion I had Janus put up" Logos wanted to emphasize that Janus had a name and it was rude to call him anything but in a disparaging context. Patton looked like he was about to cry while Virgil snarled at Logos. "You. Killed. Him." Logos sighed, exasperated. "What did I just say Virgil? A new side "appears" when an old side leaves, he was long gone before I arrived." Virgil glared at him before saying "I don't trust him, I have a bad feeling" Logos rolled his eyes. After that Patton finally spoke, "Well if you are... here now, why are you a dark side?" Logos grinned, "As I- as Logan has said before the concepts of 'light' and 'dark' are oversimplified versions of a reality that will never happen. That being said, there are two parts of Thomas' mind, the 'listened to' and the 'ignored'" Roman jumped in, "but we always listened to what Logan had to say!" Logos started laughing before whipping an imaginary tear from his eye. "Ohh Roman, and here I thought your brother was the funniest side" He glared at each and every one of them "If you genuinely believed that Logan was being listened to then you are all much dumber than I thought. That factor is a main reason Logan is gone and I am here today, Logan couldn't get his point across to save his life, literally, but. I. will." With that Logos left, leaving the other sides speechless.
