Roman walked down the stairs to the kitchen. He wasn't feeling very glittery but he wouldn't, no couldn't let the others see that. It was bad enough that Thomas' fans had started to worry because they had guessed his true feelings, he wouldn't be a nuisance for the sides as well. He was mildly curious why the Microsoft nerd wasn't downstairs, after all he heard him get up, but just shook his head and went to make himself breakfast. Patton and Virgil came down the stairs both laughing at some puntastic dad joke Patton had just told. Roman immediately put on his game face- he was an actor after all, he could do this, he could be happy for them. "Good morning lovely citizens! Though of course no lovelier than I" Roman exclaimed striking a pose. Patton and Virgil exchanged looks before Virgil hesitantly said, "you don't have to do that Roman..." Roman laughed nervously. "Why whatever could you mean my emo nightmare? I'm perfectly perfect in every way. Are you sure you're not mistaking me for our beloved robot? He's the one you have to worry about not I" Roman didn't know if this was exactly true but he did know Logan was being odd, well odder than usual. Patton softly chimed in, "It doesn't help ya know, putting a facade on to hide your more, icky emotions. And it's no fun Roman, I should know." "but-" Roman started before Virgil said "Logan's fine Princey, he knows how to take care of himself" Patton hummed in agreement before stretching out his arms for a hug and Roman broke. All his self hatred and insecurities came back to him feeling like a 1,000 pound weight on his chest. "I, I, I'm so sorry it's just" Roman sobbed, feeling Patton and Virgil's arms wrapped securely around his as they rushed in to hold him. "I know Princey, " Virgil said softly "depression is no fun but just know you are loved and valued, it won't be an easy mindset to break but we'll be with you every step of the way" "We love you Roman" Patton continued, "and if you ever get into one of these nasty spirals seek us out okay? You are so so valued and cared for, I don't know what I'd do without you" "Yeah Roman, whatever would I do without hearing you sing Disney songs and Broadway musicals every five seconds" Virgil said with no real bite. They all laughed hugging Roman. Despite his massive insecurities, Roman now realized he was loved and worthy of affection. Logan couldn't say the same.
