Felix had coincidentally came across Sir Luke on his way back towards the Emperor's Palace. He only meant to talk to the man for a short while in order to return to the Emperor quickly, but the knight had lost himself a good amount of time while talking to Sir Luke.
It was a pleasant conversation, a good exchange of information and whatnot (Sir Luke is good with words and such, had to remember that) but Felix had grown fond of it since technically, he really has no close companions inside the Palace to talk to aside from Claude (not a talker, sadly), the knights (whom was always stiff around him).
Even with the enigmatic background of Sir Luke that deemed him suspicious, Felix actually likes the guy. And it was a good thing to know that Young Miss Athy must have inherited her talkative nature from Sir Luke.
But even if Felix ended his conversation with the former merchant on a positive mood, his previously wearied complexion reappeared as he enters at the Emperor's Palace.
He has many things to fix and replace after all.
The (probably) broken desk, the sets of quills, pens and inks from Arlanta, the spare batch of paperworks, the glass panes of Claude's windows...
Hah, how exciting.
He doesn't want to prod around any personal matters just to know the reason why the blond lashed out on Princess Jeanette, but whatever the reason was, it must have been pretty big.
After all, seeing Claude's infamous bloodlust specifically aimed at Princess Jeanette is a first for him.
While Felix may be a bit biased on choosing Princess Athanasia again and again over Princess Jeanette (not just because of Lady Diana and Miss Lilian, how rude), he doesn't want for any harm to befall upon the brunette.
But still, Princess Jeanette should be grateful to the gods watching over her that the Emperor had easily let her off with a light punishment. Locked in her room for days is a hundred times better than for her title as a princess to be revoked.
A tired sigh escapes the knight when he finally arrived at the Emperor's office.
"Your Majesty, " he raised his hand to rapped his knuckles against the wood. "I have returned. "
As expected, only pure silence has been the blond's response. Felix let out another sigh before grabbing the knob of the door, and swung it open.
Claude stood before the open space that was once his window, facing the garden with a blank expression on his face. All the contents on the top of his desk was still scattered on the floor, (Felix almost sobbed as he discovers that the Imperial Seal is unscathed) along with shards of glasses poking out of the carpet.
"I have passed on Your Majesty's order to Princess Jeanette's personal maid, " he continued. "Princess Jeanette will be locked in her room without communication with anyone to reflect upon her actions. "
Seeing that the man has no reactions at all, Felix let out a quiet sigh.
"I would also call for a maid to clean up your office, Your Majesty. " that made the Emperor glance at him with a blank look in his face. "Should I bring all your spare paperworks to your room? "
"...Your Majesty? " he asked when the blond simply stared at him. "Uh, Your Majesty? " he tries again.
This time, his words garnered the blond's attention. Claude finally blinks at him, his blank gaze shifting to pure confusion, as if the man had just recently noticed the knight's presence.
