Warning: From this point on you will notice Kion having flashbacks these are like him having PTSD. If you are triggered or hate it..... actually I don't know because basically the rest of this book has him having PTSD. Anyway moving on.
Razor walked out of his cave and smiled smelling the fresh air of his fresh new area he is ruling. He looked around liking his lips choosing what breakfast meal he should get, he finally settled on a herd of impalas grazing nearby. He smiled wickedly as he jumped down the path from Priderock, he hid in the nearby grass his stripes giving him camouflage. He stalked towards the herd with enough hunting skills he remembered his dad giving him before dying. As he got close the smell of the impalas made his tail twitch with anticipation, when he was a few centimeters away from the herd he lunged at the bearish impala.
His sudden move caused the herd to be on high alert and start run away but not before Razor brought down the impala and snapped its neck. When he finally let go he bit harshly on the fresh carcass and begin taking huge chunks out and started eating with pleasure. When he finished he heard a voice he knew all to well that immediately got on his nerves, "so uh Razor what's our next phase? Kill all the herds? Take over all the landmarks?" Makucha said. Razor sighed, "for your first one no we will not kill them because if you haven't noticed the last take Scar did that the hyenas starved. So it's only reasonable to make sure we don't over hunt and keep eating like the others did so that we don't starve from lack of fresh meat" Razor said and Makucha frowned.
"What about my other idea?" Makucha said, Razor turned his head to him a thoughtful face plastered on his face. "Your second idea isn't so bad. You now are starting to redeem yourself from all those accidents that happened" I said and Makucha smiled. "I want you to round up the boys. Split up into groups of 7. And if you can along the way try to make allies so we can grow our empire into something no one can stop. Now with the Lion Guard gone nothing can stop me! Nothing!" Razor shouted and cackled.
I woke up to see Fuli gone so I immediately shot up and frantically looked around, when I didn't see her nearby I jumped off the rock and ran around trying to find her. I found Ono with the Beshte, Anga and Bunga I decided to ask him. "Hey Ono have you seen Fuli by any chance since you woke up?" He nodded, "I saw her talking with Janja about something. She is near the big pond" Ono said and I smiled nodding at him with gratitude. "Asante Ono" I left and after a few minutes I found them laughing, I walked up to them. "So what's all the laughing about?" I asked smiling, they jumped a good feet in the air.
"Oh nothing also don't scare me like that Kion" Fuli said and I kept myself from laughing and she glared at me. "Well anyway Fuli I was wondering if you wanted to come hang out with the rest of the Guard" I said and she smiled. "Of course, see ya Janja nice having a talk with you" Fuli said waving bye. Janja waved bye back and he left, "so what do you want to do with the guard when we meet up with them?" I asked Fuli who put a thoughtful face on. "How about we play hide and seek. For old time sakes" Fuli said smiling, I smiled back, "sounds like a great idea" I said and she nuzzled me and I nuzzled her back.
When we got to the others we saw them look at our direction, they waved and we smiled and ran up to them. "How are you guys doing?" Beshte said, "we're doing ok" I said and Bunga smiled. "So how many nieces and nephews at I gonna have?" Me and Fuli blushed with wide eyes. "Were no where near that phase just yet" I said and Bunga just smiled, "if you say so" "anyway, who wants to play hide and seek?" Fuli said trying to change the subject. "Me!" They all said at once and me and Fuli chuckled, "alright I'll be it and you guys hide" I said and cover my eyes with my paws. I heard movement and smiled knowing that they left to their hiding places, "also no trying to track people by smelling their scent" I said aloud so they can hear me.
"18... 19.... 20 ready or not here I come!" I shouted and looked around, I saw a pile of rocks, a cluster of trees, a few logs near the trees, and a cluster of large blades of grass. I smiled looking at the trees hoping to find Ono so he can help find them from above. I ran over and checked behind, around, up and all over the place for Ono until I say a patch of white in a cluster of leaves. I grinned and walked up to the cluster and touched Ono, "gotcha" and out popped Ono. "Aww man" he said and I smiled, "if it makes you feel better I never said you couldn't fly above and look for the rest" that got him smiling.
"When you find them stay at their spot and act like your looking for them and I could use that as a signal and find them" I said and he saluted, "affirmative" he shot up and looked around. I looked around and I saw a black and yellow striped tail poke out of a cluster of tall grass. I snuck up on it and pounced on Fuli who screamed in fright, "got you" I said and she rolled into her back and I smiled down at her. "Can you get off me" she said moments later, "hmmm I could but what's the magic word?" I said and she playfully rolled her eyes and she kissed me and let go.
"See it wasn't that bad now was it?" I said and she got up, "yeah yeah whatever red" I smiled and we saw the rest waiting for us. We walked up to them and they looked at us and smiled, "took you long enough" Bunga said and I smiled. "I got a little side tracked before finding Fuli" I said and Fuli stifled a laugh out of my peripheral vision. I heard grunts growls and playful roars. I looked and saw 2 hyena pups playing around and they were playfully swatting at each other. When one of them pinned the other down a image flashed in my head and then another.
They were the events of what happened between dad and Razor, all of a sudden I heard ringing and my lungs seemed to losing air so I started to breathe faster. I started to get weak on my legs and started to wobble from side to side, my vision was bouncing and blurry. I can hear my friends voices being muffled and when I looked at them I was forced to the ground. "Kion? Kion can you hear me?" I heard Fuli's voice echo in my head and I saw Fuli's concerned green eyes lock onto mine. My vision started to slowly get back and my hearing slowly start to stop have a rigning in them.
As my breathing slowed down and my senses cave back I looked around and saw my friends and their worrie faces. "You ok Kion?" Fuli said getting off me, I got up and looked down replaying what just happened. "I-I need to go. Alone" I said and booked off towards the unknown.
Hey guys I'm so sorry for making you wait so much I was just lazy and I blame myself and blame me. I let you guys down and that's on me, hope you have a good rest of your day.
