It was a late morning and the sun barely peeking through the Outlands but I still woke up and decided to stretch. As I finished I looked around and saw Fuli laying on her side with a frown and her mouth slightly open. I smiled and bent down and kissed her cheek, she closed her mouth and smiled. I jumped down and walked to the main area with a yawn, I looked around and saw Bunga on his back sleeping on a rock. Ono was perched in a tree sleeping, Beshte was in the pond sleeping soundly. And Janja and Jasiri were in a cave sleeping next to each other, the hyenas and lionesses were lying around keeping watch.
As I looked around a bright light shone through the cracks of the leaves of the tree, I shielded my eyes and soon everyone woke up. I looked around hearing multiple yawns and smiled as everyone piled inside the main area. "Morning everyone" I yelled, "morning Kion" they all said wiping the sleep from their eyes, as I was looking around I felt a paw on my shoulder. I looked and it was none other than Fuli with a cheery smile, "morning" I said licking her cheek.
She smiled and licked my muzzle making me blush slightly, "so Kion ready for your training?" Kovu said walking up to me. "Of cou- wait what?" I said looking at him skeptically, "well Fuli and Kiara thought it would be great if you would train. I glanced at Fuli and Kiara and they bit back a laugh, "fine. When do we start?" I said with a huff. "Right now. Follow me" Kovu said and I reluctantly followed him. "So how long is this gonna take?" I said, "well right around 4 hours depending on your fighting skills" Kovu said.
"I guess that's not so bad" I said with a shrug, Kovu just simply chuckled slightly. "Here we are" Kovu said revealing a hidden clearing behind some vines. I looked around and saw some trees blocking the sunlight, and a big stone ground. "Well let's start" Kovu said and we started training, we practiced lunges, holding a animal twice my size down with a pin, we practiced punches, kicks, and swipes, as well as holds that make a animal go blind for 10 seconds. It was good but in the end I was tired and sore, we left hiding the arena until next time.
We would surely do this daly, but for now all we have to do is train and hopefully form a plan to save the Pridelands.
