It was nearing that time of year, so Christmas was in full swing at the Davenport household. I was actually starting to get acclimated to this whole being-in-basically-a-simulation thing, especially with the holidays and Chase to distract me. Oh yeah, and there were my uncle-in-real-life-but-technically-not-right-now Donald Davenport's antics, which were always amusing. Though Krane really missed an opportunity to lower the man's ego a bit.

Anyways, we were hanging out in the living room when Uncle D came through the door, holding a couple shopping bags.

"Ho ho ho! Santa's here!" He announced, closing the door.

"I'm not sitting in your lap," Leo warned, "Just hand out the gifts."

"Heh," he replied, "Presenting this holiday season's hottest new action figures: Adam, Bree, and Chase!"

He pulled three action figures out of the bag that, true to their word, somewhat resembled the three siblings.

"Wow!" Bree said.

"Cool!" Chase said.

"Toys!" Adam exclaimed, rushing over to grab one.

"They're so cute!" Aunt Tasha said.

"Yeah, now that Ember is dating Chase, the whole world doesn't hate us now! So I capitalized on the opportunity," Uncle D explained, "By bundling a figure of her with you guys."

He pulled one out of me and tossed it over.

"Cute," I replied.

"But hey, you're famous enough already, this is about Adam, Bree, and Chase," he continued, "And me!"

He pulled out an action figure of himself and started playing with it. Honestly, had I expected anything less? We still all looked at him in disappointment before he said, "What? It comes free with the set too."

"Right, because no one would actually pay for you," Bree said.

"Look Chase," Adam said, "Yours is life size!"

"Oh and look," chase replied, "Adam's head is hollow! Just like the real thing."

"It's not hollow," Adam pouted, "It's filled with potential."

"Potential? More like air," Bree said. The three of them started arguing with each other before I looked over at the two parents standing nearby.

"So are you gonna stop them, or do you want me to?" I deadpanned. Aunt Tasha looked startled for a second, before putting on her mom face and walking over to the trio.

"Guys, it's Christmas," Tasha scolded, "This is a time to think about others, not yourselves. Which is why famed reporter, Tasha Davenport, is hosting a charitable toy drive at school. Oh it can be a little about me."

"Of course it can, honey," Uncle D cooed, kissing her on the cheek, "Now that that little self-involved side trip is over, check it out! Your action figures are now second place on the hot gift bestseller list."

"Second place?" Chase asked, "What's first?"

"A toy called the nerble?" Uncle D read.

"The heck is a nerble?" Chase asked, walking over to Uncle D, "That? That's just a furry orange ball."

"Yeah, who would buy that stupid thing?" Bree asked.

"Nerble nerble nerble nerble," Adam muttered, playing with one before looking up, "What? It has fur and rubber, what else do you need in life?"

They look away in disappointment, before they spotted me playing with one as well.

"You too?" Chase exclaimed.
