Nandito ngayon si Rovie sa bahay, tambay lang daw siya saglit. Pumayag naman si Mama since busy siya ngayong araw.
"Hoy" tawag ko sakanya habang naglalaptop
"Oh bakit?" sagot niya ng hindi man lang ako nagawang lingunin
"Nabobored ako"
"Manood ka ng T.V, The Avy Show na"
"Hala! Oo nga! Salamat sa pagpapaalala!" sabi ko at dali daling hinanap ang remote
"Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to The Avy Show! Naririto na naman tayo para sa panibagong kwento, inspirasyon at kasiyahan! Balita ko na ang guest natin ngayon eh bagong salta sa mundo ng showbiz. Wag nang magpaligoy ligoy pa, let's all welcome, Gian Canzares!" Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. Maski si Rovie eh natigil sa paglalaptop.

"Magandang Hapon po Mr. Canzares!"
"Uh. . . Magandang H-hapon rin po Miss Avy"
"Mukhang kinakabahan kayo Mr. Canzares ano ho? Wag kayong matakot, hindi ako nangangain hahaha"
"Sorry, it's my first time kasi"
"Oh yeah, I heard that you and Kean Canzares are cousins?"
"Yes"
"If that's so, how old are you?"
"Sixteen po"
"At napagalaman ko din na mahilig kang kumanta kagaya ng pinsan mo?"
"Uh. . . Yes, that's true"
"What made you think of following the steps of your cousin?"
"Passion. Love. Interest. Matagal ko na po talang gustong maging singer. I want everyone to know that I can be their inspiration, that through my voice and my songs, I can make their life a blast"
"Wow. Short but meaningful answer Mr. Canzares. Can we hear your voice?"
"Sure po"
"You were just a dream that I once knew. I never thought I would be right for you. I just can't compare you with, anything in this world. You are all I need to be with forevermore"
"GIAN TAYO NA LANG FOREVER!!"
Napangiwi naman ako sa sinabi nung isang "instant fan" niya. Forever?...
"Wow! Looks like some of our audience has already loved your voice! Thank you for that song Mr. Canzares. And we'll take a short break pips!"
Matapos sabihin yun nung host, pinatay ko na kaagad yung T.V
"Uh. . . Abby" nanghina ang mga tuhod ko nung narinig ko ang boses ni Rovie na tinawag akong "Abby". . . Which he used to call me. . .
"Can I be his fan? His forever fan? Will I be just a 'fan'?"
"By. . ."
"Why are you calling me in that name?! Don't you know that he used to call me that! And oh, one more thing, did you know that he's the only one who calls me in that name?! Masakit Rovie! Wag mo nang ipaalala please lang. . ." and great, I just felt a tear escaped through my eyes.
"By. . . I'm the one who first called you in that nickname. Even Abby. Don't you remember?" he said straight in my eyes. His look, it feels like he's telling me that "Have you forgotten our friendship?" And it occurs to me the days. . .
Where he and I were great friends...
We met each other when we were First Year High School. He belongs to Star Section that time, while I'm at the normal ones. Well actually, I knew him because of Iris, my elementary best friend. Rovie and I accidentally bumped each other at canteen. . . and he saw Iris and I was not informed that they knew each other because of Rovie's friend and also a friend of Iris. And in an instant, we became friends. Until one day Iris confessed to me that he likes Rovic, which in fact it didn't bring any shock to me because she was stating the obvious. Plot twist: I also like Rovic that time. But the thing is, I can feel that he also like Iris so. . . yeah. That's when the time I met Gian. Gian is my not-so-close friend and also a classmate of mine. I didn't notice his very own existence that time until he said to me that he likes me and he'll court me whether I like it or not. I thought he was fibbing because I didn't take it seriously but that's my mistake. Later that afternoon I saw mom talking with Gian and that's that. You already know what happened next.
"Hindi ko alam kung pa'no tayo naging mailap sa isa't isa. But one thing is for sure, Iris told me that you like me" and he dropped the bomb. My heart is beating abnormally. Oh shit am I going to die already?!
"And I also like you Abby. Please give me a chance. Please let me spend my forever with you"
What the actual hell. . . I'm not ready for any of these. . . if only he confessed to me back then.
"It's too late Rovie" and I went out of the room. I seriously need air.
