"You almost ready dear?" Her mom came in.
"I hate this." Bree said looking at her dress and hair. This wasn't her. And the last thing she wanted to do was go to Midsummers.
She wanted to find JJ. Make things right, somehow.
"I know going to a party is just awful. Hurry up and get in the car." Her mom said annoyed.

Bree slipped her heels on and headed downstairs and to her car. She got in the backseat next to her brother.
They drove in silence, none of the family wanting to talk to each other. When they got there Bree immediately left her family to find Kie.
She spotted the dark haired girl doing the Pogue handshake with Pope making her smile. She walked over.
"You look amazing Bree." Kie said noticing the girl.
"Why thank you. You look gorgeous Kie." Bree said doing the handshake with Kie.
