Sophie's POV

I stood up and looked at the others when they came outside. Soda looked a little sad for some reason. Dally went to grab Pony but I stepped in front of him.

"We were just sitting watching the stars Dal. Thats it" Dally moved me and grabbed Pony. Pony got loose and ran away. Dally went after him. They ran around the yard yelling things at each other. Dally soon tackled Pony and punch him in the stomach. I gasped and ran over to them.

"Dally you pig get off him" I grabbed Dal by the ear and yanked hard.

"Ow ow ow ow ok ok" Dally stood up. I helped Pony up, who held his stomach and smiled at Dal.

"That won't be the first time I'll touch her" He then took off, Dally on his tail. They ran into the house. I giggled and walked in.

"Oooooo we got romance already!" Two-Bit laughed loudly and grabbed a beer from the fridge. Dally had Pony pinned to the ground.

"Say it t bag!" Dally jammed his fingers in Pony's side making Pony let out a yelp.

"I won't ever touch Sophie again!" He looked over at me and winked with a smirk on his face. I laughed and sat on the chair by the door.

"I say we outta take Soph shoppin for girl things" Darry nodded in agreement

"Tomorrow we will" I nodded and remembered I have money in my bag so Darry won't have to buy me nun.

"Where do I sleep?" I stood up and grabbed my bag from the floor. Sodapop got up and put out his hand.

"Let me show you ma lady" I blushed and took his hand. Dally threw his lighter at Sodapop but Soda only laughed. He led me upstairs and opened a door on the left. The room was small with a desk and queen bed. A small window that looked out into the front was on the wall to the left.

"Sweet dreams beautiful" And with that he shut the door. My cheeks got hot and I smiled. I set by bag down and laid on the bed. I hadn't realized how tired I was until now.

I woke up to someone jumping on the bed. It was Ponyboy and Dallas.

"Get off you fatties" I laughed and kicked Ponys leg making him fall, right on top of me. I smiled at him. Butterflies filled my stomach

"Mornin Soph" He smiled big at me. He was suddenly thrown off me with a yelp. Dally smiled with his fist full of Pony's shirt.

"Get up lil lady we're going shoppin!" Steve yelled from down stairs with a yell of excitement after. I kicked Dal and Pony out and got dressed. I put on black sweatpants with cargo pockets and a tight white shirt that showed my lower stomach. I slipped on my shoes, grabbed my wallet and ran downstairs. I sat on the couch with Johnny.

"How it be babycakes?" He smiled over at him. He blushed and looked down

"Been better" He seemed so shy and broken. Something must have happened to him I can tell. Also because he had cuts and bruises on his face. Maybe he got jumped like they all kept telling me happens very often.

"I'll buy you an ice cream if you give me a smile" He gave me the toothiest most cheeky grin i've seen. I laughed and looked at the gang who just emerged from the kitchen.
