"My heart is in your hands...do with it as you please." Rye Alden counted herself lucky for not inheriting the werewolf genes from her mother. She was content with her ordinary life and her human father. But when tragedy strikes and her father is killed in a car accident, Rye discovers just how deeply her faith has been intertwined with the werewolf world. King Xavier has waited 200 years for his mate, but now that she is finally here, she wants nothing to do with him. How will he ensure her safety and crown her queen?

Absolutely MIND-BLOWING, awesome, amazing! (I sound like an over-excited chihuahua, lol)
If you haven't read this book already, I must ask, how have you been living?!? Go and devour it right now, make sure to reserve the time space of 12 hours at least because the sequel is just as good.
Though I don't really like or review books which star species other than werewolves because I think it makes the plotline messy and sometimes, characters do not get a satisfactory conclusion, this book is clearly an exception!
The protagonist is strong (would definitely leave you in splits with her comebacks) and the storyline, well... twisty-turny and a complete edge of the seat roller coaster ride with a cliffhanger thrown in for good measure.
*Highest rating is 5
Storyline - (4.5/5) 💣💣💣💣💣 (The way the author manages to pull off a world of werewolves, witches and mythological gods so cleanly definitely makes it a must read.)
Smut - (3/5) 🍦🍦🍦 (Yup there's some)
Writing and Grammer - (5/5) 📝📝📝📝📝 (You're not reading a book, you're entering a whole new world! *cue the song from alladin*)
Character Descriptions and Development - (5/5) 🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️ (Oh she's S.A.V.A.G.E, dammit!)
Alpha King obnoxiousness level - (1/5) 🤦♂️ (He's good... but then there were some frustrating decisions that he made)
Overall score: 86%
