[LGBTQ+ story]
================================
(BOOK 5) *Also a stand-alone book!*
Jacob has been shy almost his entire life. He is reserved, has an introverted soul and struggles to communicate in this stereotypical society. He has a deep issue that he has tried so hard to keep a secret from the outside world.
Feeling alone and scared he considers giving up his battle.
Will all that change when someone has the opportunity to tell him who he really is?
In this twisting storyline full of mind tugging plots and surprising turns, life as Jacob knows it has never been what it has always appeared to be.
"I want him so bad," Hunter grumbled and longingly stared at his mate from across the room.
"Just relax Alpha," His friend whispered so nobody could hear. "He can't know yet."
"I know," Hunter mumbled but his feelings were growing stronger with each passing day for his fellow classmate, Jacob Jones.
=====================================
Such a well balanced and beautifully written story! Though to be honest, as soon as I read that this was Book 5 of a series with over 10 Million reads, I expected nothing less. Though my expectations (which were already high) were blasted through.
I never expected such a unique story!
*Highest rating is 5
Storyline - (4.5/5) 💣💣💣💣 (Clearly, it's a masterpiece)
Smut - (1/5) 🍦🍦🍦🍦 (There was like one scene in the whole book... though the author sure as included a lot of flirting - so cute! 🥰😍🥰)
Writing and Grammar - (4.5/5)📝📝📝📝📝 (Nah, dont worry about typos, just enjoy.)
Character Descriptions and Development - (5/5) 🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️ (This book is the very definition of character development.
The way everyone deals with their own devils, try to better themselves, it is clear that character development was one aspect which was well thought out by the author, and it played a vital role in the plot of the story.
I'm not only talking about the protagonists, but even the side characters were beautifully described and amazingly portrayed.
In terms of Character descriptions and development, this book was the best on wattpad I've ever had the opportunity to come across. 👏🏼👏🏼)
Alpha obnoxiousness level - (0/5) (Its not fairytale love with everything sweet and good, and at the same time it's not unrealistically toxically workable.
Their relationship is written out realistically and thoughtfully.
They're so cute!!! 😍😍😘🥰🥰 - I still can't get over that.)
P.S. I think I'll be reading the whole series now.
Overall score: 96%(A definite recommendation!)
A/N There was this one line in this book that really kinda got me thinking and I think as far as LGBT rights are considered, they perfectly express my standpoint, my opinions on the matter. You can absolutely go ahead and skip it, but I'd be happy if you decide to read further.
Warning🔺, rant up ahead.
I'm sorry in advance if I got some term factually correct or ended up offending someone, that's really not my intention... Wattpad for me is a platform for expressing myself and sometimes, it just entails sensitive stuff or topics that can make people uncomfortable, but I felt like I must write this out, send my message. I don't know if this is the right way to go about it, or the right place to express my frustration with society (in an author's note - really?) but...
here goes nothing.
I really don't get why people become so violent with respect to LGBT people etc., to a point that they feel the need to what - hit them? abuse them, vandalise their property? bully them? Especially when they're complete strangers.
If you don't find something favourable, if you aren't in support of LGBT rights or feminism or stuff, that's fine, everyone has a right to their own opinions, nobody can force you to think one way or the other.
But it is WRONG when, if you see the stuff you don't like in public and decide that the best course of action would be to go up to that couple and insult/ harass them, or glare at them/ deliberately try to make them embarrassed. That is just not acceptable.
If you don't like it, then ignore it. There's no need to forcefully stick your nose in matters that neither concern nor affect you. That too just to hurt people. Your family, your neighbours, your fellow colleagues, friends, distant acquaintances, fellow humans, no matter who it is, try not to be the person to bring them sorrow, pain, hurt, despair or tragedy.
No matter who it is, please try to be positive, be the light of their day. And if you can't do that, then don't do anything.
No one should force their opinions on you, on me, on anyone. No one can force you to become a LGBT ally or a feminist, but don't make your thoughts become the root of the actions you take to bring others pain.
Some people might not agree with what I've written, and that is fine, I just expressed my opinions - whether you agree with them or not, is a decision that can only be made by you.
I wrote this to compel you to think - if you decided to read it in the first place, that is - with the hope that maybe, maybe you would decide to mull upon what I've expressed and try to bring a smile on someone's face, try to make someone's day a little bit brighter, decide to apologise to someone you've hurt before, or give someone something to look forward to.
Maybe after reading this you'll decide to express your support to someone whom you see struggling... to the best of your ability.
Maybe my words would help making this world, our society, the human civilization a tad better place for someone to live in.
