King Micajah

Years before his birth, it was prophesied that his soul would never be whole, that his heart would never beat in rhythm to his other half.

Micajah was born with a dark soul, a soul that was corrupt. A soul that was more wolf than human. A soul incomplete. Nothing but an imperfect creation that walks earth.

He will never have a true mate. When his turn to rule the wolf kingdom arises, after the death of his mother, he is forced to choose a female that has already been rejected from her true mate.

Alongside his rise to the throne, the wolf kingdom begins to tear itself apart. An uprising begins. No one wants a creature, hated by the Moon Goddess herself, to rule. Even if he is the only royal heir by blood. Even if it is what tradition dictates.

A male more beast than man, can never yield humanity, let alone love. But humanity can be learnt, and love seizes all - even those with corrupt souls.

====================================

A very thoughtfully written story. Not too intense, not too simple, just perfectly balanced.

It was an amazing read! Definitely recommend you to check this book out as well as other books by the author.

(I still refuse to believe the author just winged it, unplanned... such a mesmerizing tale cannot be spun by a mere mortal, unless...

*squints eyes suspiciously*

... the author is not a mortal.

Hmm...

demigod?

or is it vampire?

werewolf?

fae?

angel?

*strokes chin thoughtfully*)

Anyway, before I slip on my sherlock glasses, onto the ratings *insert grand sweeping gesture*.

Storyline - (4.5/5) 💣💣💣💣💣 (Go read it!)

Smut - (1/5) 🍦 (Very PG-13. Infact its ok for younger people as well)

Writing and Grammar - (5/5)📝📝📝📝📝(Idk why the author hasn't gotten it published yet, good for me and you though!)

Character Descriptions and Development - (4.5/5) 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️ (The characters are as realistic as it gets. And for once, the author has done them justice with the descriptions, the emotions and their character development (even if it was a bit too sudden for my liking)

The female protagonist was especially sensible (can you believe it? her common sense was actually working!) Great plus point in my opinion.)

Alpha King Obnoxiousness level: (0/5) (Finally! We have someone who isn't unnecessarily possessive and protective.

To think it took me 200 werewolf books to find ONE male protagonist whose skull wasn't stuffed with cotton candy! *exasperated sigh*)

Overall score: 97%

P.S A witch?

P.P.S I think I'm having a very sarcastic day today.
