Wise men say

falling in love with youAhsoka stood staring out the large window in the Senate building, gazing at the glowing city that shone brighter than a thousand angels of Iego. Her dulled blue eyes burned and her heart ached.
This was all her fault.
She knew things would end poorly between the two of them, and yet she still did it anyway.
If only she shut him out before she got too attached. Shut him out before things went the way they did.
She now understood why attachments were forbidden; too much heartache and spiraling grief.
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin
if I can't help
falling in love with you?She wished he never left. That he never said those harsh words that penetrated the walls that once were so strong but collapsed due to trust.
As she gazed outside, all she could feel was anger and hate and despair wallowing up inside of her.
She prayed and prayed and prayed that he would change his mind and come rushing back to her, but her prayers were nothing but fruitless; he was never coming back.
Why did she want him back, anyhow? He broke every promise he made her and tore them to pieces and stamped them into the mud. He ripped her apart from the inside out and left her for some other girl. . . .
Her eyes stung as she remembered the burning image of him kissing the other girl and leading her into his flat. It was without a shadow of a doubt that he had been with the other girl awhile. The way he whispered in the girl's ear he had done to Ahsoka many times was the dead giveaway.
She knew it wasn't technically cheating if they never were officially together in the first place. But all the countless memories of the two made it insinuate that what they had was real, and not just a silly little fling.
But it was her fault.
She knew the consequences of opening up her heart and let him inside.
And yet she did it anyway.

Darling so it goes
some things are meant to beLux couldn't deny the shaking feeling of ache that filled his body like a punching bag of sand. The feeling of Miss Padmé and Master Skywalker's eyes digging into his back.
He hurt their daughter.
He deserved the shame.
Of all the things he's seen, seeing the anguish and anger on her face when she saw what he was doing was by far the worst.
Take my hand
take my whole life, too

falling in love with youHe wanted to shove the other girl out of the way and run to his true love, but he knew she wouldn't take him back after what he did.
It was seeing her run away with sobs dripping her face that made him realize what he did to her was wrong. He broke every little promise he made to her and tossed them away like a wilted lilly. It was then that he realized he took the one girl he truly loved for granted.
He didn't know what was going through his head when he decided to kiss someone else. Maybe it was the feeling of not keeping a relationship a secret. Or the fact that that he was lonely with her being gone all the time with Jedi.
