The sun's smiley face wove its way through the linen drapes and directly onto Ahsoka's orange face.

Ahsoka had normally gotten up before the sun, but lately, sleeping in while staying at Padmé's apartment just became natural.

Stretching out on the soft bed, Ahsoka let out a yawn of waking up tiredness. The fluffy mattress and comforters just made her want to stay all warm and relaxed all day. Reluctantly, she emerged from the blankets and lethargically padded over to her closet. Ahsoka wasn't a morning person, even when she was actively fighting battles.

Opening her closet, she let out a gasp as she saw a pale yellow and white-striped jumper with camisole straps. Plucking the dress off the hanger, a small piece of paper fell to the carpet. Go to the votes, was all it said. Go to the votes? What did that even mean?

She pulled off her nightshirt and slipped on the jumper. The fabric was smooth against her stomach and legs. Whoever put this here knew their way around fashion.

Suddenly it clicked. Go to the votes meant going to the Senate meeting room. That's where all the voting took place. Grinning to herself, she slipped on a pair of Padmé's sandals and began to skip to the meeting room.

What could possibly be there, though? Was Anakin there? Or Lux? She hadn't seen either of them for a few days, so could that be the reason they wanted to meet her there?

After practically sprinting to the meeting room, she slid the door open with the force and did a quick scan with her eyes to see if she spotted anything. She let out a little groan as she realized she was going to have to search the entirety of the voting house. She looked up and down a few rows of the pods, but then she realized that the note was either in Padmé's or Lux's pod.

She went one level up, the one where the Nubian senator took the most action, and found a gold-trimmed piece of fancy parchment.

Ahsoka, it read. So glad you found our first letter and knew to come here. Anakin wanted to be facetious and just keep them all vague, but the rest of us decided to at least give you this one so you knew what was going on. Probably shoulda given you this one instead of the other one, now that the three of us are thinking about it. Anyway, go to the place that the Chancellor likes to wander to sometimes.

Her mind instinctively went to where the pods were stationed, right outside the Senate Building. It wasn't uncommon for the Supreme Chancellor the hang around in that area, waiting for updates from the Order about how the war effort was going in the different systems. For a moment she paused before heading on her way. Was this a trap? Why was she just going along with this so willingly, even with no warning signs from the force?

You know better than that, Ahsoka, to trust this easily.

Even with her logic screaming at her that this is was not a good idea and was most likely a trap, she decided to follow where the notes led her to anyway. After all the poor choices she's made, whats one more going to do to her?

She kept a good lookout while she padded to the entrance of the building. The Senate Building usually was one of the safest places on Coruscant, save for the Jedi Temple, but no one can ever be too sure when a sniper is ready to tag someone in the back.

The next piece of paper was a bit smaller and not as fancy, and it simply said Dex's Diner. Either the last note was correct and Anakin did have a say on how vague it was, or someone was trying to trick her thinking it was her older brother.

Dex's was a place she, Obi-Wan and Anakin used to visit frequently. But after recent events, the trio had stopped going entirely. Some parts of the past are meant to stay hidden.
