"I know I can't be angry at him, he obviously didn't mean to hit me. But, the guy was just helping me up cause I fell. He had no reason to act out like that" I said holding a bag of frozen peas to my face.

"Iz, he's just protective over you. Don't let one little fight mess up your relationship. Like me. Who just royally messed up theirs" Jughead sighed leaning back against the sofa.

"What do you mean, Jug? You and Betty are perfect. Granted the Serpent dance was a little unexpected, but you care about each other" I said putting my hand on top of his.

"I - I broke up with her" He put his hands over his face "I broke up with her for my own damn feelings. I know it's selfish and I think I messed up but then again, I think it's for the best"

"Jughead, I know you care about her. And if you think what you did was right, then you shouldn't feel bad about it" I smiled taking his hands away.

"Yeah, you're probably right" He smiled bringing me into a hug.

"Oh, Juggy, I'm always right," I said squeezing him tighter.

"Shut up, you're ruining our sibling bonding moment"

After covering my bruised nose with some makeup, I walked to Sweet Pea's trailer home to talk to him before I left for school.

"Sweets, it's Izzy" I shouted through the door. A minute later the door swung open and I was pulled into a hug.

"Shit, Iz, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hit you and I shouldn't have gotten so angry"

"Sweets, it's ok. I'm not angry" I laughed pulling away "Come on, let's go have breakfast at my place so we can go to school with Jug" We walked back to mine and went straight to my room considering neither Jughead or my dad were up yet.

"Come here" I pulled him down to kiss me. We both fell back onto the bed as it got a bit more heated. "Can you hear that? They must be up, come on" He groaned loudly but followed me anyway. Just as we were about to exit my room I stopped in the doorway so that I could listen to their conversation. I probably shouldn't, but I'm too nosey.

"I was thinking about our Penny problem," Jughead said. I looked at Sweet Pea confused about who this girl was but he just shook his head at me making me think that something bad was going on.

"My problem, not yours" My dad replied, I could hear him pulling out a chair and sitting down "And not so loud, Elizabeth could hear"

"It's fine she went to Sweet Peas. And I'm the one that she has delivering drugs on camera"

"How I deal with Peabody is not your concern. I'm handling it"

"By pimping the Serpents out as drug runners?"

I gasped slightly not believing that my dad was letting this happen.

"Boy!" FP warned.

I heard the door opening and someone walking in.

"Hey what's in the bags Tall Boy?" Jughead asked.

"Hey, what did I just say? Mind your damn business. Get to school" Dad said angrily.

I chose this as the point to walk out, sensing that their conversation was over "Hello family, and Tall Boy what a surprise! What are you doing here" Overly happy so that I didn't give it away that I was listening.

FP glared at Jughead obviously thinking he lied about me not being there "Hi Sweetie, I thought you were gone already? Tall Boy is just here on some business for me" He said pulling me into a hug.

"Yeah I was but we came back so we could walk with Jughead to school" I smiled grabbing my bag.

Sweet Pea shook my father's hand as the three teenagers exited. I sighed looking at Sweet Pea before grabbing his hand and speeding up to walk with my twin.

"What is all this?" Jughead asked as we walked into the White Wrym.

"It's Serpent tradition. Every year we give back to the southside. Toys for tots, meals on wheels, kids and old folks living alone"

"The Hells Angels do it"

"I'm always down for charitable works" I replied smiling.

"Hey, have you seen my dad?" Jughead asked.

"Why aren't my kids in school?" Our dad said coming down the stairs behind us.

"It's a half-day before break" Jughead and I said at the same time. We smirked at each other and high fived.

"Well, in that case you can hold down the fort here, Jug," FP said walking around the place. I started helping Toni sort out some toys but was still listening in on their conversation.

"Or I could come with you guys" Jughead tried.

"Nice try, the answers no" My dad replied. I snorted to myself going back to work not noticing the wierd look Toni gave me.

"We do need another set of hands, boss" Tall Boy said.

"There you go. Dad?" Jughead pushed.

Jughead moved closer still trying to get my dad to let him go but he was just cut off and ignored.

"Sweet Pea, you're with us"

I looked up from what I was doing instantly before making my way over to them.

"Dad, where you going?"

"Don't worry Iz, official Serpent business"

"In case you forgot, I am a Serpent"

"Yeah, don't remind me" He said walking off.

"Hey, I won't be gone long. I promise to tell you what happens" Sweet Pea said. I nodded giving him a kiss and watching them leave. Jughead and I turned to look at each other before going off in different directions.

"Ugh, why is life so hard Toni?" I asked making the girl laugh.

"I don't know Iz, I don't know," She said dramatically.

"I'm glad I met you. You're a great friend"

"Aw, Iz don't go soft on me now it doesn't suit you" She laughed "Just kidding, I'm glad I met you too, it was getting a bit too male heavy around here"
