Prologue
As I sit there and wondered how the hell I had got myself into this, and hiding from the one person who wanted to find me. Crash! There went my sisters priceless dolls. "If she were still here I would get blamed for this" I breathed. Cough, cough. She's getting closer any minute she will see me and it will all be over the whole thing wasted. "Come out, comeout little child." She spat, the stench of her vile breath reaching me, ensnaring me, chocking me. Will it ever end? "When I find you I will carve into your soft, peachy skin and do something that the mere thought of it will turn you inside out." Came the raspy shriek from outside in the hall in front of the laundry room in which I was nestled. Bang! O.M.G this is just getting worse. Maybe, just maybe I could wriggle out and make a run for the loft and climb onto the roof and down the... No, no that just wouldn't work for so many reasons, no matter how badly I wanted it. "Silent, why is it silent?" I questioned. Woozy I was suddenly overcome with lightheadedness. "But why?" I enquired before my unconscious body collided with the floor.

Chapter 1
"Oh the weather outside is frightful...." Sang Sharon Griffin, 41. "Shut the hell up, you awful Christmas elf!" I shouted down the hall jokingly at mum. Every single year the same brainwashing songs are played, will they ever learn that NOT everyone likes them? A sudden breeze shot through the room. "Jesus I try to do my coursework and then when I sit down it turns out I have left the window open and Mother Nature wants to get in on the joke." I muttered agitatedly to myself. The pale green curtains blew inwards as I made my way over to pull the window down and lock it. "Hey is that Raven? Oh great I'm talking to myself, first sign of insanity." I added. With too much to think about I sat down at my computer and stared quite intensively as if the words would write them selves, wondering about the one thing that could make this all so much better. Conner Robin, the most gorgeous guy at M.S high
(Manchester Stafford high school). Dark glossy almost ebony hair; too long to be short but still majorly hot with yellowy eyes that contrast perfectly however most girls find that the least attractive feature on him not to mention most of them are taller. Thank fully this does not apply to me as I classify as a midget; not great as I'm not the thinnest of girls. "Anyway back to my coursework for the most boring of subjects geo-biology. How does WHAT..... Human DNA affect modern society and changes in the government?" I groaned from my slightly colder fortress.
*****
Thud, thud, thud. Patrick was back this either meant another embarrassing night at Andy's or spending the entire night protecting Crissy and hearing mums bloodcurdling screams spasming from my mums battered body. My sister ran in "Dads back Charlie!" Squealed Crissy. "Yeh well guess we better head over to Andy's for the night then." And I hadn't even started my coursework and that was out of the dam question at Andy's. "Aww but it's Christmas we have to stay a family pwease can we stay, just tonight" she crooned with big blue wide eyes. I just sat there an rolled my eyeballs and her skipping out my room knowing my defeat when she sees it and rubbing it in. Slowly the music creeps up and the neighbours start trying to ignore the bustle of noise being emitted from the kitchen downstairs. Eventually I start writing words on the screen in full knowledge that these words are not relevant to any coursework or GCSE's I know, these words are full of meaning and are secretive, these are the ones everyone is oblivious to, the ones I shouldn't be writing. The ones no one should speak of. After a while I sit back and stare at them as if they'll jump out and bite me on the nose. What I have typed scares me so I erase it but not before I copy it to my pen drive. I risk looking out of my window, and see him sat there so elegantly and regal the black bird blinking in the harsh white seems so peaceful in comparison to the 'festivities' going on inside.
I know this is very short but I had to adapt it from one I stated to write to get published in paperback. But I've decided to publish it here first. Xxx the second chapter is a hell of a lot better i might add chapter 3 as well to the next part. Please comment, vote & fan ( I fan back). Xxx
